Original name "Virus C.dll" change to "Virus C 6v5.dll"

I love this thing, some patches eat my cpu away but otherwise its awesome. Makes me want to get the hardware version but
I just bought a Nord Lead rack. These guys that made this are amazing, leave it to the "little guys" to make the bet vst of the year, to me anyways. Hopefully it gets a little more optimized in the future but its amazing. Looking forward to the Waldorf roms.

I'm confused regard what file to use as ROM file. Sometime I found .bin file, other time the .mid or .sys.
Can u explain please?

It's confusing because Banks in Acces Virus synths are called ROM.
And also in emulation world are ROM's but there it means something like "screenshot of hardware".
So Virus Banks have extensions *.mid, *.sys, *.lib
And ROM's for emulation have extension *.bin

There is 31 banks not included in my pack, rest of it duplicates. I'm not checking patches with VSTI, i'm checking files data with software, if there is %100 data matches i'm deleting duplicates.

its crazy how our computers with so much computing power still slow down on emulations. i fully understand that it is emulating a whole chip or series of processors but still. sooner or later this problem will be a thing of the past.

Yeah. It's like in the 90's. You needed tons of hardware.
Samplers, mixers, compressors, effects, synthesizers.
PC was to weak for something more than DAW. Now You have tons of vst's which are close or the same like hardware and You can use dozens of instances and this will be like nothing for Your PC.
The same will be with emulators in the future.

CPU spikes, some performance will be fixed alongside other fixes, crashfixes and improvements in next update. Recommended to use B rom or C 6.5 for slightly better performance. 6.6beta rom fixes almost nothing in virus, that is why it was not released as final, also this has worse performance in emu.

What CPU and how much load ? The only issue I have is that it introduce a quite high latency

a 2% load on all presets (even in unison mode) on my i9 10980x. Even when loading 10 instances of the plugin my CPU load doesn't exceed 5%. Win 10 LTSC, Studio one. I don't have any CPU issues what so ever. U-he Diva has a higher load on my CPU. It looks like it's very system dependant. I use a RME fireface UCX as audiointerface.

What shows %2 ?, DAW's own performance meter or Windows task manager ?. Cubase shows %3-5 but task manager shows %30-38, it wont go higher and some patches crackling cause its limited to use 1 core of CPU.

Diva might use more CPU but it supports multithreading it means it can use full power of CPU thats the difference.
