means Waves is not for them. Waves is optimized to work with many Waves Plug
Instance. If you are considering running just few instance, try to get rid of
Waves and find alternative plugins. You can check yourself how many DLLs are
loaded and how many files are read and written to load just one C1 plugin.

I use Reaper 6.04.x64 on Win7 x64. After uninstalling, full cleanup (like R2R info states) of latest V10 and installing this, most Waves plugins are visible - MOST! But funnily, some are missing like:
- Abbey Road Saturator
- Scheps Omni Channel
... and some more.!

Under C:\Program Files\Waves\.. i can see the .dll's for "Abbey Road Saturator" and "Scheps Omni Channel", but they will not get detected an loaded! Could anyone please verify these issues?

I am quite sure the groups don't need any help, but in my thoughts, it might be easier to "fix" the poor software (due to corporate decisions and not coding or usefulness) by applying any potential 7 fix to the whole package. Just a thought.

I think it is a foul business practice to exclude 7. We all know why it is done. There is -no- technical reason and development is -not- seriously hampered or strained with respect to resources needed.

Bummer. I've been waiting to install a new version of Waves for 2 years. Everything worked fine, so why bother upgrading? Well, the 2 plug-ins you listed as not showing up were part of the reason. Oh well, I guess I'll have to keep waiting. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm having the problem, I can't open any vst3 plugin in Ableton and when I try to load it it does nothing, it's like dragging to nothing.

Same issue, tested this out on my laptop. Does not load plugin, it goes to nothing, no plugin loaded. This was a fresh install too. Not putting this on my recording PC

Just a guess, but you got Windows 7?

Seems a few Waves Shells DLL's are missing from the release.
4 & 5 to be precise which most probably contain the missing items.
Most probably a packing issue but this is true for both the VST 2 & VST 3 formats
so I wonder.

Installed on windows 7 but only half of the plugins show up, any idea why? i deleted every trace of previous install

All these plugins people are saying are missing are all showing up and working for me. Latest Reaper, Win10.

I did have to follow all the removal instructions in the .txt, including searching all of my vst folders for waveshell. After that, everything is there fine.

I'm just wondering if any of the virtual instruments are worth getting the libraries for if I already something similar to each? Any standouts, or maybe all middle-of-the-road compared to other options?

Anyway, thanks R2R for years of this, and anyone else who helps bring this to us.

too bad it misses the ability to link multiple parameters to one macro knob, if they limit it

Works very well in Studio One and Adobe Audition. The plug-ins also listed in Vienna Ensemble Pro 5, but when i put an Effekt into an Insert, there pop ups a "incompatible channel configuration" message. Any suggestions??

Checked : AFAIC the Rockfile links are working.

Can someone who can see all the plugins check the Waves VST folder
for the files below & confirm they are there :
Waves/Waveshell4-vst3 11.0_x64
Waves/Waveshell5-vst3 11.0_x64
Waves/Waveshell7-vst3 11.0_x64
That's 4, 5 & 7.
This will solve the mystery to all of those who can's get everything.

I don't see those, just 1,2,3,6,8,9. I can't say I definitely have every plugin (I haven't checked against a full list) but I definitely do have the few that have been mentioned as missing for some.
