means Waves is not for them. Waves is optimized to work with many Waves Plug
Instance. If you are considering running just few instance, try to get rid of
Waves and find alternative plugins. You can check yourself how many DLLs are
loaded and how many files are read and written to load just one C1 plugin.
Therefore we provide full installation only with good compression and faster

does anyone receive this message when trying to open Studio Rack ? Select waves 9.7 SG Studio Modules folder. Ok, i found it at C:\Program Files\Waves\SoundGrid Studio\Modules but nothing happens! :-( Win 7 + Studio ONE

From a previous comment: Waves V11 is officially compatible with Windows 10 and macOS Sierra 10.12 and later. V11 is not officially compatible with operating systems prior to Windows 10 (for example, Win 7, 8.0 and 8.1 are not compatible) and prior to macOS Sierra 10.12.

I have same problem, it wont accept that directory or others. It asked for plugins too but its working. (Win 10, Cubase)

From the comments I have seen, the instruments are nothing special (considering what is available for free here).
The effects on the other hand, have quite a few that a lot of people like.
Of course ... I want the synth plugins and have them installed with their HQ libraries :)
I am a hobbyist and like to play with everything
Some people do not have the time to fool with them

Both StudioRack and Ovox (latest many variations) don't work on 7. SR is a ghost and Ovox just crash. Replacing OVOX with old fixes (needs both application .exe and Plugin folders of older.) If the groups can look at this to patch like Melodyne was, then cool. If not, then not a big deal. Or perhaps even collaborate. Thanks again.

Maybe R2R version is fine to w10. On w7, i come back to 'Waves.Complete.v11.17.03.20.WiN' (VR). At least Ovox is working and the Powershell kill isn't needed.

I only installed the vst3 version but this doesn't look good.

You should see the plugin itself not the shells. Does not matter if is VST or VST3 version.
Try a clean install like says the NFO file.
Unninstall everything and remove the remain files and then a clean install.
Here all is working nicely....

Does anyone have any clue where the sample folders get installed to? (I'm on Windows 7. The plug-ins seem to be working fine for me -- but I've no idea what Superrack or Soundgrid are, so they may not work.

Oh, is that what it means when it says if you need the instruments, you need to install them seperately? That the instruments are included, but the sample files aren't? That would make sense,

Anyway, all the plug ins work fine in Windows 7. Superrack and eMotion seem to work fine as well -- insofar as they boot up and run. SoundGrid Studio won't start for me.

This R2R version (or almost always all versions) does/do not include the samples of the instruments but it/they does/do include the actual instruments themselves. You can place them anywhere you want, once you get them.

This location holds the shortcuts to the actual placement. They are made by the instruments themselves. When you open any one of them, it asks you to tell it where the samples are. Then, it makes a shortcut here. You can make them yourself, too:

C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\Sample Libraries Locations

Instrument name, then space, then "Samples Folder" i.e. 

C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\Sample Libraries Locations\Bass Fingers Samples Folder.lnk 
C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\Sample Libraries Locations\Bass Slapper Samples Folder.lnk
C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\Sample Libraries Locations\Clavinet Samples Folder.lnk
C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\Sample Libraries Locations\Electric88 Samples Folder.lnk
C:\Users\Public\Waves Audio\Sample Libraries Locations\Electric200 Samples Folder.lnk

Just make sure they point to the proper location, is all, when making shortcuts. Or allow the instruments to guide you to choose where and it does it for you.

My advice for FL Studio users. IDK how do you make your plugin database. I organize mine by manufacter. You can use that plugin database across any machine so install, copy the plugin database to fresh machine, and enjoy!! no need for more

Maybe a dumb question, but I have waves 10 installed and I want to do a safe and full uninstall before try v11. Could anyone explain how to do it?

Yes I'm worried about installing V11 as I have v10 aswell. I've had duplicates show up in my plugin manager befor and also had alot of trouble with saved projects recalling vsts after installing. Any tips would be great

This is -not- nitpicking. It is in the interest of awesome. You guys know what I mean.

The Waves installers always update the ReWire.dll file at this location. Imho, it is a good idea to write that into the installer routine. Not for me as I would do it by hand anyway: My second sentence, above. C:\Program Files\Common Files\Propellerhead Software\ReWire\ReWire.dll

It is already included in Waves main program folder: C:\Program Files\Waves\ReWire\x64\ReWire.dll

On a side note, one of my software that I update regularly puts like a 2012 version hahaha. I never figured which, yet. Maybe Reaper? heh heh I am not certain this file even does anything at all: In my thoughts, it might just be a place holder, like archive purposes and never called upon. I don't really know either way.

By the way, my axe in pic is Fujigen, Prestige. :)

I found one more not working on 7: Brauer Motion. This is a -total- side note edit after the above; an afterthought.

i installed vst3 64bit version of plugins and when i try to load them into ableton latest version its giving me this error "plugins could not be loaded and are disabled"
