I did get an error when closing it that it could not save the plugin state in bitwig. this might only be for bitwig, but if anyone else gets any errors lemme know

Has CodeMeter been beaten (meaning that other CodeMeter-protected programs will be easier to crack), or it's just been bypassed somehow (for example due to a mistake in its implementation, which means that other CodeMeter-protected software won't necessarily be any easier to crack now)?

In all honesty - & I mean this with all respect - I hope they never let the gen public know that question. Best to probably keep their magic tricks between the hardcore crackers. That way the industry won't sniff it out as easy... Just a guess..

I'm part of that gen public (Avenger just switched to codemeter, just to name one), but rest assured it's not in my interests to spread the news about codemeter being defeated.
If people can try the software without limitations I'm happy they can, as long as they end up buying what they use. Some pirates are potential customers, and few developers realized that, even if some others on the contrary try to enforce even harder copy protection systems that end up harming the actual customers.
Maybe it's not codemeter's case specifically, because codemeter is very very light on the system, but dongles and whatnot might be much more taxating, if not limiting.

Not all people have the economic resources to buy all the plugins that they like after 30 days, BUT i think many of us, as long as we happen to be in a better position economically in certain moments of our lives, will buy original soft. I wouldn't have purchased the original Cubase 9.5, Reason 10.5, NI Maschine 2 or some Cymatics samples, etc if i could have not tried them out before. Now I have a lot of plugins i have not paid out for YET, but i'm SO SURE i will buy more stuff than i if i hadn't had the chance to try them out fully for more than 30 days. That's why the effort of all these talented guys behind R2R, VR and some others is doing a great service to the music industry. Thanks to them people can develop their creativity and music skills, and many people can live thanks to music, investing that money in the music industry itself by hiring producers, music studios, buying original plugins... So again, recognition and prayers to these guys that have been consistently and selflessly releasing quality stuff that would be impossible to get by other means for more than 20 years now (I can recall R2R releases from 1998!).

yep, you have right. S1 and Cubase ,Nuedno does not recall program settings, but FL does the job accurately... I am talking about Win 10 1903....
Maybe is because some runtime conflicts in DAWs, yet in FL works well... For sure we will get a revision with that fixed...
