I realize such a statement might not be super popular on a warez site, but I gotta say I'm happy that he is doing so well with his copy protection. His product is very convenient to use and doesn't torture the buyer with dongles and crap like that. I hope he'll continue being successful, and that many more developers will adapt his model of business.

Agreed. I buy everyting I use long-term, and I actually prefer U-he over other companies because:
1. I can re-sell if I want to (plugins does not become NFR).
2. I can install it on al my machines (licenses are personal - not machine based!!)
3. Only serial number protection. No hassle, no iLok, dont have to worry about losing the plugin if my computer dies etc. Will always work, no 3rd party dependencies.
4. Original versions are very stable.
5. Very reasonable priced.
6. No bullshit selling points like Tone2 for instance.
7. They don't give money OR plugins to popular/rich artists to promote their stuff. No need to. Plugins speaks for themselfs.
8. Best support among VST manufactors. Without a doubt.
9. But most important ofcourse: all plugins just sound very good. It's just a matter of taste which synths/effects you like.
