Its a false/poitive or not. Who knows! I which we had a reverse team to check such 'false/positive'. Thin ice for us cheap user..

Same with sylenth1.dll = Trojan:Win32/Occamy.C3F

As I've mentioned before, I love my deeply-sampled, Kontakt pianos but, despite certain peoples odd notion that you have to back either modeled or sampled pianos, but never both, I've found this as an invaluable tool for quickly sketching out new ideas with different tones lending to different ideas, as well as being a solid piano(s) for certain tracks.
A question, though, partially rhetorical: Who the hell has a G to blow on an instrument, all-encompassing though-it-may-be? I guess they're fine with alienating 9-5 musicians...

That's what physical modelling instruments are like. They are completely clean. You need to add your own reverb and delay to make them sound alive. But thats the beauty of it because they give you a RAW File to play with.

I'm not one to distrust AudioZ releases, but this one is triggering 38 of 71 VirusTotal engines. I want to believe it's clean, but the fear of a backdoor in a seemingly innocent release makes me afraid of keeping it.

I have opened once and tested it closely the day the release was posted but now, after opening for the second time today, Windows Security (the default Microsoft antivirus) reacted and quarantined something and Pianoteq doesn't load anymore. Reverting to a previous version.

It quarantined the pianoteq app. Go to your windows defender and choose Restore or Allow or whatever option is there.

Odd, works 100% standalone, but in ableton crashes if I try to bring up the preset manager

Anyone else see this?

The previous 6.2 stage, which I still have installed, brings up presets in ableton just fine

This is the most important tool for a pianist I ever saw, simply perfect, works anywhere.
1- Drop an entire any 'piano concerto' and choose only the piano part, set a slower tempo to 0.8x to slow down and fell the fast arpeggios, giant scales or "copy&paste effects up and down the piano frequencies" that is the most common task used by all kinds of composers.
2- You can STOP and use the right arrows to work as a conductor, so you can see what notes are playing.
3a- Choose the Excellent Blütner/Bösendorfer piano and the space Hall you want.
3b- Render just the piano part you want to mp3, then put on a pen drive to listen carefully.

4- Build your own midi playlist to hours of music.

Drop any midi files directly on any part of the pianoteq, no need the search throughout boring folders, download midis from web, from chrome drop direcly on it, spacebar to play.

In the past years, that was a hard task to listen the piano part of famous concerts, first was needed to open on a music notetion and the erase all orchestral parts, then save as midi to be opened on a Daw with Kontakt.

Now, things works in a shot, just drop on any part of the pianoteq application.

Believe me, one day all those terabytes of samples you have, will go to the trash, the future is SAMPLE MODELING, we'll have an entire Full Orchestra, Drums, Winds, Horns, Stradivarius better than we have today.

Now we have a perfect tool to listen to the part that interestes us. God save these guys.

Virus or something which has similar behavior like virus detected in my computer and immediately was deleted (*.exe file). I scanned installation file with Kaspersky, it was clean. I suspect that win defender deleted *.exe before I have a time to started once. Today I tried to install again, and after installation I scanned Pianoteq.exe with Kaspersky, they detected virus in file and suggest me to delete this item or to try to disinfect with win restarting. Something is wrong with this installation. I use portable ver. and it is ok.

I don't know what changes where made to the file but to be clear: Pianoteq a couple of months ago was waiting for the Windows team to renew the signature in the software executable so you will always get a warning advice while trying to install. The problem seems to be solved in the current version.

Does anyone have any ideas why this keeps getting deleted? It happens randomly if I do get online with this comp all my programs I shut down so I'm not sure why it keeps disappearing.It works fine for a while maybe a Windows update?

Thank you for this release! working perfectly, but i still get a weird virus detection from Windows Defender,

for now i just allowed it because i don't have anything important on my pc and i have everything backed up externally.
