Massive X 1.0.1 Update

- ADDED Preset, wavetable, noisetable, harmonization menu pinning to keep menu open, double click to select and close menu, pinned state is default

- ADDED Module bypass in header for oscillators, noise generators, filters, insert effects, stereo effects

- ADDED Hover over wavetable, noisetable, harmonization menus exposes up, down arrows to cycle through content

- UPDATED Master volume fader supports horizontal or vertical mouse control

- FIXED Crashes and plugin-blacklisting caused by Windows account name containing non-English characters

- FIXED Audio clicks related to Advanced Voice Stealing

- FIXED Intermittent crashes which could occur while resizing interface

- FIXED Routing section muted nodes display color

Ahhhh Bummmer!!!

Im getting open gl errors with this release and it wont open ,, subsequently crashing ableton. win 7 x64

Ive other plugs that need open gl 2.0 so i dont understand the error msg "which looks like a book btw".

And if indeed it wont run properly on win 7 , then native instruments needs a rethink!!

Windows 7 is still very much the choice platform for every programmer i9 know of!!

So why in F~@k not cater to that and listen to the masses!!

win 10 just aint there across the board,,

win 7,z been ready and able for years.

ps , cant find a fix,

Importantly, this the new version changes the sensitivity and sound of your projects to before.. and some old user presets have a another out..

Graphics issues with older CPU's NOT ABLE TO RUN COMPLETELY AS ONLY VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT ON THE MARKET!!!! EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN 8 YEARS OLD 6-CORE (12 THREADS) CPU RUNNING AT 4.2GHz WHICH EASILY CAN RUN 30 INSTANCES OF THIS SYNTH!!!

You guys need to leave your long-term DAW girlfriend and start a new relationship with Mixcraft Studio. Less buggy, never moans on most VSTs and has many well screen tutorials on youtube. Do the right and set free your old forever nagging on the lagging DAW from your abusive moaning .

It may be after they fix all the bugs, add more visualizations, reduce the CPU load and add more factory presets. For now - use something else unless you want to waste 1 gb+ hd space for this.

Thanks a lot. It works to me on windows 10. The Gui has more color? The graphic-glitches are still there. But the sound is good, guys. in my opinion similar to waldorf Largo.

IMO it sounds everything but not like a Largo.Massive X sounds bigger,more precise and less metallic than Largo.

And Massive X is powerful with uncommon features.Definetly worth a try!

I'm going to come out and say it.... I really like this synth. There, bag me if you want.

It has a unique feel and sound to me which I enjoy. I think it will only mature and improve over time like the 1st Massive did.... like a fine cheese. NI will make changes in response to user criticisms and many nice presets will be on the horizon. Thanks Sunny & VR.

The issue is not the sound, but rather the buggy and in general poor performance, the clusterfuck GUI with huge discrepancy between clustered elements and wasted space, and in general the lack of all UX design choiches that would make it an efficient synth.
Yeah, it can sound good if you're not into nickpicking stuff like antialiasing and other stuff, but the release was a disaster and the synth still lacks a proper manual.
Besides, many people were kinda coerced into buying komplete to get massive for free, which I did even if nobody forced me to, but in the end after expecting a february release, the june one was still not even worth of being a beta.
This is not a finished product, and NI should get their shit together on this one because so far it's been a Massive disappointment and there are still issues that make it unreliable and sometimes even unusable.

Appreciate that Rhino and I agree that there are some technical issues with it that NI should have sorted out before release but for me as an amateur, I can still use and have fun with it regardless (plus I haven't bought it yet). I'm sure they have noticed the deficiencies users have highlighted and it will be a 'work in progress' for awhile which is a shame for those who paid full price and expected it to be much better on release than it has turned out. Maybe I should have said 'fine wine' instead of 'fine cheese', cheese tends to stink more with age which I don't think Massive X will, hopefully.

The known issues were present in release version 1.0.0 and they are still present in v1.0.1.
So we can conclude that nothing is updated by NI in this version , it is as same as original release version.
I wish if they had solved these issues before adding new features it would have been great pleasure.

If i load Massive X plugin in Reaper i get visual c++ runtime error after updating win10 to the last version, 1903, updated yesterday.
