•FIXED KSP: In certain cases, the ui_file_selector element would revert to its base path, forgetting the last selected file (v6.1.0 regression)
•FIXED KSP: Controlling most convolution parameters from KSP was broken (v6.1.0 regression that caused all related controls on many instruments to become unresponsive)
•FIXED KSP: The getter for $CONTROL_PAR_HIDE would not return the right value if the value was $HIDE_PART_BG (v6.1.0 regression that caused severe cosmetic issues on Spitfire products)
•FIXED KSP: Any use of $HIDE_PART_CURSOR would always apply to all cursors of the xy_pad it was used on as opposed to just the one intended (v6.1.0 regression)
•FIXED Kontakt would crash when trying to load an instrument that had automation assigned to controls that were removed after the assignment (v6.1.0 regression that affected certain products by Big Fish Audio and 8Dio)
•IMPROVED Kontakt's new Auto-Apply feature (introduced in 6.1.0) now ignores changes in subfolders of the watched folders (anything deeper than scripts or performance_view)
•IMPROVED KSP: All PGS-related coding mistakes are now Warnings instead of Errors, both in how they are shown in the Creator Tools Debugger, and in that processing doesn't stop
•FIXED KSP: There were some unexpected behaviors around the use of nested panels and certain Z layer settings
•FIXED KSP: The getters for $ENGINE_PAR_WT_FORM_MODE and $ENGINE_PAR_WT_QUALITY would always return 0
•FIXED KSP: Info Pane text would not appear for ui_button controls

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUNNY's POST

If you have a previous version of Kontakt 6 (Demo,Player, or Full) you dont need to run the Kontakt 6.1.0 Set up. Simply run the patcher or manually substitute each file with those in patch folder.
If you dont have Kontakt installed or have any version of Kontakt 5 already installed Run the Kontakt 6.1.0 Setup and when finished either run the patcher or manually substitute each file with those in patch folder.

Note: Kontakt 5 and Kontakt 6 can coexist in the same system.They have different install paths. In fact, you need the Kontakt 5 for your old projects because the names are different. "Kontakt 5" and "Kontakt"

The setup replaces the following files:
Kontakt exe.
Kontakt dll
Kontakt aaxplugin

It automatically adds an automatic registering tool in C;\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Kontakt\Add library. exe

*You dont need to activate protected libraries. You only need to register using the Add libray. Batch mode is supported
*You can edit patches of protected libraries
*You can resave protected patches with samples
*You can edit password-protected patches

a question please: does this version of kontakt have a complete installer? Can I uninstall 5.7.3 and re-install this? Or can I keep the 5.7.3 good and copy the files as described in the instructions? thank you

I added the patched retail installer for everyone who wants it "complete" and as easy as possible. You also can use it for updating your old installation (your old Kontakt 5 will stay untouched and all your libs will get added to K6 as they show up in K5). But if you mean every library included by writing "complete", then I have to say no! In such case the download would have a countless ammount of GB's.

no no I don't mean all bookcases included. I mean an installation from scratch. Not the replacement of some files. I mean, I'd like to know if you can choose the two options. Is it better to replace some files and keep the 5.7.3 or is it better to install kontakt 6.1.1?

Kontakt v5.*.* and v6.*.* are different products with differently named vsts. Only Service Center is shared. You can have both installed and running simultaneously.
You need to do the full installation of this v6.1.1 in your case to avoid any trouble.

I live in germany...one of the worldwide leading technology countries but my provider only offers me a 50Mbit/sec connection (but only theoretically...in real I have 30Mbit/sec...so about 3 Mb/sec) thats so sad!

I live in Hamburg! :) Germanys 2nd biggest city...my provider is the Telekom! They also offer me 100Mbit because my connection is able to handle this...but they reduced my connection (I had 55Mbit/sec for more than 2 years what was really enough for my daily needs) since 1 month I only have 30Mbit/sec! These assholes! I think I have to change...but I also receive my Television (Magenta Home) with it...So I would have to buy 3 new receivers for my 3 TV's!

Throw the TVs out. They just bring you crappy "entertainment", news which are basically lies and propaganda and you finance the TV via GEZ, which you never ordered in the first place. Got no TV for like 20+ years now. Not missing it a bit. ;)

Haha, same here. Have no TV since 10 years and I miss nothing. For a nice and fast connection in Germany I recommend Kabel Vodafone. For a 2 year contract with 1GBit (~120MB/s) you just pay 45€ in a month (counted for the whole 24 months runtime). Together with a nice & fast but secure VPN, it's about 55€/month. If you instead take the 500MBit (~60MB/s), which is more than enough and has the same upstream as the 1GBit option (50Mbit), it's 35€/month + 10€ for VPN.

To save money, I asked my new neighbors if they want to share my connection instead of buying their own and now they pay half of the costs, haha.

I stopped watching all the regular stuff, the day i understood the TV is just the biggest propaganda machine used by governments to indoctrinate people, make people fat&lazy, make people follow their agenda and convince people in order to be a good citizen, they must pay taxes on time, never question whatsoever, and people absolutely need a ruler, a government, to protect them.

And of course, all the lies the government will spit, the tv journalists will always agree with everything.

The only time i spent in front of a tv, for many years, i was watching some animals shows. They can't lie about that. Everything else, from science, history, etc etc, they only say what they want people to believe.

Man, TV is just a piece of worthless shit. I also stopped watching TV about 2 decades ago. Just watching what I want to watch, which is just mostly films and documentaries. No advertisements, or state-brainwashing. If you appreciate your freedom of thought, chuck that piece of shit out of the window.
