You've never heard of Idi Amin?!? He says you have to dress up as Idi Amin and then start the DAW. It's so obvious. My guess is that it could work, since the plugin could get absolutely terrified by your appearance.

This release should fix the latency issues (wrong latency compensation) and some problems with the automation of states. We tested the plug-ini a lot of different DAWs, but since it's impossible to test all combinations of DAW & OS, please let us know if any of you still experiences latency problems.

they (he) shared info with R2R afaik, some thought he'd joined them, but others said differently and that they just communicated. R2R probably have the knowledge that AU had by now, if not more.

From what i remember, R2R actually reversed engineered, what AU has done, and they learned how he did it from his work (releases), and after that they started building on that... the thing is, AU has released really big AAA plugins and even Daws(Pro Tools), from the best manufacturers, i'm pretty sure R2R can do the same, but wont ?

I know AU blew us away with the releases. I use PT HD 12.5 to this day and it's changed the way I work vs my old Studio One days.

I have to juggle with patchworks for some of the better (VST) plugs that were never 'freed' for AAX though, not even by AU. This is at least where R2R can, hopefully, step in in future.

Yes but it was iLok2 v4.1.3. This new one is iLok2 v5.0.0.

What's exactly the difference between 4.1.3 and 5.0.0? Is this a plugin that only uses dongles without machine authorization?
