iLok shit is not removed. It is changed from iLok dongle to iLok cloud.

Now that you mention that I notice that S1v4 can see only VST3 although I installed VST2 as well and it's sitting in proper folder which I re-scaned...
Does your S1 see VST2 smartEQ2?

No such behaviour in Win10 as well.
@jing It could be an S1 issue, try moving the vst3 into another folder that does not get scanned and see if vst2 shows up then.

@Zartfleisch thanks for the suggestion.
Indeed when I remove VST3, VST2 gets recognized however as I put VST3 back VST2 disappears from the list again. Tried renaming VST3 file but again if both are available to S1 it will show only VST3 version.
