A modular mastering chain plugin modeled after the EMI TG12410 Transfer Console used in all Abbey Road's mastering suites since the early '70s to this day. It's waves, I doubt it.

You can get far better plug-in sound on y our mix/master chain than what waves serves up. They do make quite nice looking graphics though... that's about it. Harsh and cheap sounding plugs vs the best of others now.

So the industry's most acclaimed audio engineers/producers(Alge, Puig, Scheps, Kramer, Vig, Marroquin, Maserati, etc.) are endorsing "harsh and cheap-sounding" plugins? Is THAT what you're saying?

I don't, i just install and it works for me but i do usually manually just delete the old VST from its folder before i do. just done it now and all works great.

It's alright, DJK has made it a habit on this site of instead of assisting members who seek help, he'll rather comment a glib taunt, or drop some useless piece of information. And then once he's called out on it, he edits his original comment in order lessen the backlash. But it's no problem, I'll help you out.

These come with everything that would come if you got it from Waves themselves, except the instrument contents for the pianos and the clavinet, which can be found elsewhere on this site. Also they use R2R's own installer and emulator to install and authorize them, which supposedly are more stable than Wave's own.
Every time a Waves 10 bundle is released, it is update with a product that has just recently been released by Waves. For example:

The release before this, that is, Waves Complete v2018.07.23, featured the addition of Abbey Road Chambers.

This release, that is Waves Complete v2018.10.16, featured the addition of Abbey Road TG Mastering Chain.

I kept the instrument samples in place when uninstalling the old version.

i just wasn't sure if we have kind of a Version 9 and Version 10 getting updatet by Waves.

Now its clear to me. And, as i wrote in another post a few minutes ago, it says in the R2R notes, that it is Waves 10....

The TG does not work for me, the output "module" work but not others modules they are not highlighted like the output someone have this issue, i'm on win7 x64 with reason 10.

I have tested it with Reaper 5 same thing, and when i open the meter bridge he crash Reaper oO

Same thing as Reaper in PT12.5 AU what happen with these plugins?

The live version is empty...

After reboot it works

Quick question...
I have installed WAVES and all the waves I have installed in size is 6.92 gig. Meaning I've installed some VSTi.

Question is if I download this one, and before installing this version, if I uninstall my version I guess it will uninstall All the 6.92 gigs right?

Should I just install this one above knowing that this release is 2.5 gigs?

If you uninstall the previous version, it will probably uninstall the Waves VIs too but I doubt VERY seriously that it will uninstall the VI SOUND LIBRARIES which is where the bulk of that 6.92 gigs is coming from. When you then install THIS version, it will install the VIs again and you might have to "point" them to their respective libraries which is very easy.

Does anyone know why when i install waves and open them in ableton, the plugins are black and i cant see the functions of the plugins, thanks

probably because you have some old Waves files laying around. Was you're last waves installed from Waves Central, if so did you uninstall it from Waves Central? You can try to reinstall you're old Waves install then try to do a new uninstall , and also manually delete all Waves folders, files, plugin and delete files in registry. Then try to install this

Thanks, plugins works. Just I have a big problem in Reaper. None of waves plugins load in the projects. I can load them in insert but if I open any project that was created before I installed this Waves complete update, no Waves plugins load... it shows message: "The following effects were in the project file and are not available. REAPER will keep their configurations, but things may not sound as desired"

Maybe this is because the old version was V9 and the new version is V10. Your old project is possibly looking for "Waves V9" plugins but can't find them.

This is an educated guess and I have NOT verified this.

Thanks, but I don't think the new version is the issue because all other DAW load the waves effects in old project just perfectly. Only Reaper won't load them.

Didn't solve it yet. Will let you know.. Trying to solve it through Reaper forum. Otherwise I will have to go back to the previous version of Waves.
