What version shows up in Ableton? It has to be v1.2.4. You can see it in the bottom right of the plugin window. It sounds like Ableton doesn't load the patched plugin but an unpatched from a previous installation into another directory than your default VST dir.

In that case, you can manually copy that patched dll from your VST dir into the dir, Ableton uses on your machine or you redirect Ableton in the settings to use the VST dir. Will check that scenario later on a virtual machine, have no Ableton installed here.

yes says 1.2.4 64 bit ,it loads on string m achine and plays that but when i go to change that it asks demo or auth. i can still play it etc :]

Go to your VST dir and check, if there is a EZkeys.dll file in the main dir.
If yes, then look for the folder "Toontrack" in your VST dir and open it. Inside you'll find a EZkeys.dll file too. Copy that file into the main VST dir and click on replace.

The file in the Toontrack folder is the patched one. After replacing, everything should be activated.

I have a problem extracting two of the files from Mega.nz. Specifically, 06.rar and 08.rar show always error and the extraction fails. I downloaded them twice and tried both WinRAR and 7-Zip but with the same results, so the problem must be in those files and not from my PC.

I now downloaded and tested all the parts from mega and everything works here. Maybe mega had a bug on their servers. Try one of the mirrors. As I saw, there are some, where you also can download for free with nice speed.

And I already was thinking about something like that for EZdrummer and EZmix but in case of EZd, it would be too big because of so much libraries available. If I count fast, it would have a size of about 40GB or so, which would take something like 100h of upload time for me and about 2h of plain installing time for the users.
EZmix is another story. That one would be (compressed) maybe 100MB.


I think that the libraries for EZD have been sufficiently traded around and an all-in-one installer for them isn't really necessary. Having the latest unlocked versions of their plugins (EZD and Superior) would be priceless though.

With EZMix, a universal installer would be great, as there's just so damn many of them.

I keep getting a install.res????.dll error when the setup completes. Everything shows up where it's supposed to except the actual .dll file in VSTPlugins folder.

Anyone know how this can be fixed?

Can you send me a pm with a screenshot from the crash message and tell me your OS? Would like reproduce that error on a virtual machine to be able to fix it. Had some similar crashes when creating the installer and I thought I fixed them all.

Thank's a lot R4e Unfortunately I have some errors when I Unrar the files (I use Winrar on Windows 8.1) Not on the 5 first archives (Toontrack.EZkeys.Complete......etc.rar) but with the uncompressed 10 after (ezk124un-r4e.rar) The message is "No archive found" A solution ? In all case, thank's again for your work

I don't understand. My rar files just contain the ISO Image file and my NFO.
I never pack archives twice - means, you've downloaded from a mirror and maybe there went something wrong. But also it could be a compatibility problem with WinRAR - I used WinRAR 5.4 to pack the release.
