... yes, we have a same idea (without knowing this from each other, since some time) and chaos begin the work of such a patcher long before me. i notice this after my patch was allready finished, so i have to say in a honest way: i wouldn't have made such a patch if i had already known this before, because i realise now how much work he spend in this great thing! (not only because of his higher reversing talent, also because he spend time & work on real codings instead of using a mainstream "patch-O-matic" )- so i have to say: it's a big honour - many thanks CHAOS\Horseman!

have just tried it with Battery3 v3.2.3 demo VST x64 & x86 , it worked fine, thanks!

so far it was the only NI vst i was missing here..

now, i hafta find the kits & libs for it

only ? pff... not ONLY this boring protection things, the patch sends online, after cracking directly a letter to a guy in china (with your individual setup settings and wishes, stored as cookie on your pc.) the guy in china make now your personal bundle (also with original ni product-packings) and fly to you... and if you just have 1% of the thank-full-ness attitude like here: he leave you faster as he came incl. friendly winking!

i have only asked me, why there is now a patcher, after 98% of NI products are cracked

and can go to the NI website, download the demos fast and apply the patch.

Should I block NI from accessing the internet? Or will the demos I have stay demos just without the limitations? I got Battery3 and Driver, and I am hoping I can patch these to use along with my purchased products. Anyone got any feedback on this type of thing?

"call home" its a expression , not a real thing

call home means that the software make online checks in your product , if the software have a blacklisted serial or a keygened serial it stops working nothing more

anyway its VERY rare to find a cracked aplication that makes net calls becouse that is the first thing to crack!

Malwarebytes and Norton NIS did not see the virus

the cheap engines always see something if you check anything on virustotal.
(better say: they NOT see, if a app eg drops a mp3 at your temp to play some music, this cheap blind appz also make alarm, no matter what a file comes) the most freeware scanners are so bad that anyone is able to manipulate a exe signatur dropped with a faked one (whatever: borland, microsoft, armadillo) and this cheap things say now: all ok! or they found another suspect thing... EXCEPT the good engines like eg. kaspersky \ norton etc.
so we should better pay for a good antivir-engine in this time. this freeware things are ok but you near going paranoid and crazy because they want delete most all that you click on a pc :)

Will this work for Macs as well or is this just for windows?

with all the warez going on here people should check into quality antivirus, instead of acting like it's so difficult to find or they have to save up to actually pay for it, please
