I can only load one montage instance ,trying to load the second one but it freezes all my daws,checked it on several daws,any idea whats the problem?

Me too but (see below) I fixed it by following the instructions and some groping in the dark.
The tricky part was to install the certificate but it's a simple right-click on the .CER file.

No need to goto the VR version, you may do that if you prefer but the R2R approach works beautifully.

@all: Did you have installed "R2R Root Certificate" + "R2R Silk Emulator"?

This is the condition to make this special release work, because as any Stbrg / Yam R2R release, it is patched to look for and use this file:

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\TEAM R2R\license-engine-access.dll"

If it doesn't find the file, it shows a "license not found" message.

In other terms, if the VSTi shows this message, it simply means that you have not installed the R2R Silk Emulator correctly (important: read carefully "R2R.txt" included in both releases).

I read it all even checked for the file in common files you suggested still get no license after like 5 seconds of running

Edit... The issue was the root certificate wasn't installing if you have issues after installing the certificate use the check certificate.When I installed the certificate it was fine but after checking it it wasn't installed everything works now. I was having trouble with cubase etc

Thank you for the clarification. For anyone (like me) fiddling around, the steps are easy:

1) Install the root certificate, i.e. simply right click on R2RCA.cer and select Install certificate; then pick Root Trusted
2) Run the tool to check the certificate
3) Install the Silk Emulator

After, as usual, run your DAW, start the VSTi plugin and after 30 seconds no license message, all is good.

It works for me on FL studio (both working, R2R and V.R) though I had to install the latest silk 1.3.0, to make it work (it didn't on old versions), latest FL version
