I think the question was more that it says "or above", so poster assumes there is a higher version. In reality, R2R probably added this to future proof the release if they do update the WAIFU in future.

I don't have a legit version to test it, but I suggest you should try, then report here, it could be useful for other users who ask the same question...

My guess is that it should work normally, but of course without trying we can't be 100% sure.

No, at the moment it's impossible because the R2R version acts like "demosongs" when it saves. So you can't open them.

If you're right - wow that is a huge inconvenience. So if I buy Reason after using this one, I can't open anything. Best not commit to this one, and who knows, the next R2R version might not even open songs from previous versions.

Actually I'd use the demo over this. All devices except RE are available to you. You can't load songs but you can SAVE songs, so you can use it to save ideas/drafts. Another thing is that you can save AND load synth patches as much as you want. Yep, you can create patches all day and continue working on them the next day. Demo is free forever of course.

There are instructions on how to manage and prep your r2r files and resave them so you can open them in the legit version, however, I never got this to work myself. If perhaps someone else has, I would appreciate if they would share.
