Unique keyboard/percussion sound library for guitarists
East West presents MIDI Guitar Series Vol. 5, a unique, almost 23 GB sound library with keyboard and percussion samples for guitarists. Together with the Fishman Triple Play Wireless Guitar Controller (not included) each of the 91 instruments can be triggered via electric guitar and played live. The controller recognizes playing modes such as vibrato and sends the corresponding modulations/ Expression -commands. The samples are also those of the well-known ghostwriters, The Dark Side, Goliath, Fab Four, Ministry Of Rock, and ProDrummer Libraries from EastWest. Reprogrammed and optimized for the Fishman controller, you can play organs, harpsichords, distorted cellos, pianos, glockenspiels, gongs, gamelan, drum ensemble hits and much, much more in real time in 44.1 kHz/16 bit format.

Thanks so much DECIBEL... much appreciated! Seems that the triple play contyrollers have severe ordering delays.. waiting for 4 months. Can these libs used with other controllers? I use Midi Guitar from Jam Origin a lot so....before entering the realms of download hell.. will it work?

Sorry if it's a dumb question, I don't know anything about this East West Midi Guitar series. Must you have the "Triple Play Wireless" equipment to use these, or can they somehow be used without that equipment? Thanks, and congrats to Decibel on 5000!

The libraries do NOT depend on having Fishman (or any specific MIDI controller), but the libraries can exploit MPE features and a controller like Fishman can take advantage of that by having each string generate MIDI on a separate MIDI channel. So (for example) pitch bend controlled separately for each string is taken for granted by guitarists and wouldn't work without a separate midi channel for each string.

Thanks so much for the explanation adheesive! I did google it but because its an older East West release I was having difficulty finding much info about this Midi guitar series.
