Steinberg today announced the immediate availability of Absolute 5, a collection of standalone or plug-in instruments for VST, AU, and AAX hosts.

Absolute 5 is a celebration of the best synthesizers and workstations that Steinberg has to offer. Spanning more than 130 GB of sound content and over 7,500 presets, Absolute 5 features 28 VST and HALion instruments.

Now in Absolute 5, the drum re-synthesizer Backbone layers, re-synthesizes and decomposes samples into noise and tonal parts. Also new to Absolute are the vintage keys of Amped Elektra, Electric Bass and the expansions Polarities for Padshop 2, Sounds of Soul for Retrologue 2 and Future Past Perfect for Groove Agent 5.

Also included in Absolute 5 are the instruments from the previous iteration. With HALion 6, Absolute includes a powerful sampling and sound creation instrument. At its side stand HALion Sonic 3, Groove Agent 5, The Grand 3, the Padshop 2 granular and spectral synthesizer as well as the classic virtual analog synthesizer, Retrologue 2. And the list goes on: Prime Cuts and Rock Essentials Style expansion sets for Groove Agent, Granular Guitars for Padshop, Dark Planet, Hypnotic Dance and Triebwerk add to the considerable arsenal of sounds.

Just the crack. To get the vsts you need to use Steinberg Download Manager (asks for an account) then you apply this

I think there's also the Support's download link for some of the vsts too.

for windows just copy and paste overwrite the SeLicenser.sel file
to
C:\ProgramData\Syncrosoft
as its mentioned on the nfo ,and follow exact instruction
then go to the site login normally and let the browser open your
download assistant app and it will update itself once done you can start downloading
the new stuff (im amazed how im now using these stuff now for free and start loving the products ,(saved my money for a while before i found UVI lol )

How to solve this issue when trying to install libraries? Steinberg Library Manager privileged helper has wrong version (-1.-1). Failed to establish privileged helper. Installing older Library Managers does not help ....

mac intel here big sur and latest logic.. after I install it I can see "Padshop" on the Au manager.. but when I search in the instruments Padshop is not there.. strange does anyone having this problem? or does anyone knows how to solve it?.. thank you VR ¡

I finally managed to make the libraries work, without the use of the library manager. Before installing the software (in my case Halion) just copy the "additional content" to Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/VST Sound and then install the software. The libraries should appear now. No sure though if it is still possible to move the libraries away to another drive without using the library manager. Did anyone succeed in this?

You can use SymLinker 2 (Symbolic Links) to move the libraries to an external or secondary disk
