Steinberg today announced the immediate availability of Absolute 5, a collection of standalone or plug-in instruments for VST, AU, and AAX hosts.

Absolute 5 is a celebration of the best synthesizers and workstations that Steinberg has to offer. Spanning more than 130 GB of sound content and over 7,500 presets, Absolute 5 features 28 VST and HALion instruments.

Now in Absolute 5, the drum re-synthesizer Backbone layers, re-synthesizes and decomposes samples into noise and tonal parts. Also new to Absolute are the vintage keys of Amped Elektra, Electric Bass and the expansions Polarities for Padshop 2, Sounds of Soul for Retrologue 2 and Future Past Perfect for Groove Agent 5.

Also included in Absolute 5 are the instruments from the previous iteration. With HALion 6, Absolute includes a powerful sampling and sound creation instrument. At its side stand HALion Sonic 3, Groove Agent 5, The Grand 3, the Padshop 2 granular and spectral synthesizer as well as the classic virtual analog synthesizer, Retrologue 2. And the list goes on: Prime Cuts and Rock Essentials Style expansion sets for Groove Agent, Granular Guitars for Padshop, Dark Planet, Hypnotic Dance and Triebwerk add to the considerable arsenal of sounds.

on Mojave, everything works perfectly
on Big Sur, Padshop and Groove Agent are not showing up in Logic

yeah, I have the same problem on Monterey, it validates successfully though...

fixed it, Padshop shows up in Logic Pro X 10.7.2 on macOS Monterey and is working correctly

Delete these:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.AUHostingService.x86-64.plist
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.audio.InfoHelper
~/Library/Caches/AudioUnitCache
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.audio.AUHostingService.x86-64
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.audio.InfoHelper

Restart Logic

Some of the files originally located in .../Preferences/ are located in some other location on Monterey. just search for them, you will find them pretty easy

From the archive content, I see that it's b24 actually (on Mac) -> Soft-eLicenser local license generator b24.pkg
Now I'm confused
I have b23 installed on Mojave ... so yeah it would be an upgrade for sure, but I know b25 is out, so why installing this b24 rather than the b25? (that I still have to find somewhere btw )

Ran that on Windows and downloaded everything from Steinberg. However, Padshop and Retrologue still ask for a license inside Cubase 12, although they work fine with Reaper. Any clues?

EDIT: I found out that Padshop and Retrologue had been updated by the Download Manager and the license stopped working. Removing them and installing from the links provided in the text file solved the problem.

hello guys
i have issue to work with midi controller on Logic Pro 10.7
on Ableton or other daw absolute plugins works fine with midi keyboard but on logic its not triggred I tried with Touch Bar keyboard and musical typing also just when I write in midi clip some notes plugin playback
is there any way to work it via midi keyboard on logic ?

Hello guys, need some help here, I already have C12 installed fine, I am going after the VSTi and libs, everything seems to go fine downloading from the links in the text file, except Halion, it throws an error every time, I have even tried the mac version, same error, also the text file form V.R Absolute 5 from August 2021, all of them dont recognize the link to download Halion. Any ideas? Thank you!

hey guys!

I need some help. I tried to run Generator b24 on Monterey (12.5.1) and the installer fails every time. I tried to manually put the SEL in the appropriate place however after trying to run the REPAIR function on e-licenser, it failed and gave an error. Can anyone help me out here?? i'd appreciate it
If it ain't loud? I don't wanna hear it!

A lot of the download links in the .txt file are coming up with XML errors & not downloading. Also, when I try to use SDL, I'm also getting a download failed error. Any ideas how to get these downloads?
