These Korg plugins are soooo useful when you want to quickly jot down some ideas. Thank you so much for the updates RET and Mordi!

Thank you especially for the Prophecy, Triton, Triton Extreme, and M1. Wavestation would be welcome, too... sorry I just had to say it. I know, no requests.... take it as "I just mentioned my favourite Korg plugins". Speaking of favourites, I do like very much Mono/Poly and MS20, too.

Have anybody noticed any change in the quality of sound, though? I mean the older plugins that just got a GUI remake. Prophecy sounds very good and it's so nicely tweakable. :P

Is the KORG Triton considered superior to the KORG 01/w ?

I would say yes because it's filled with more modern sounds/samples and all that, but 01W is rather different and unique, due to its Waveshaping synthesis which yields some really interestingly sounding results. I would much rather have 01W emulation than M1. Weird that they haven't made an emu of that very popular synth, a successor to M1.
I played with the real 01W when it was new, and T1, too, which was actually just a bit more advanced M1... ;) M1 was considered bad in my circles [synth pop/industrial/trance/rave], whilst 01W was praised for its synthesis. M1 was really simple sounding, and had no DCF, just like Wavestation [which I owned and loved a lot due to that yummy wavesequencing - great for pads], but they rectified the lack of DCF [digitally controlled filter] in the emulations of M1 and Wavestation. That's why I think they both sound better as emus than the real thing. I always wanted Wavestation with a DCF. :P Cheers!

Ahh thanks very much for the in depth explanation, Agreed it would be great to have a plugin of the 01W, Perhaps Korg will make one someday soon.
