guys ,the exb-pcm banks is missing from this korg extreme release
but its available on r2r release v1.0.1
C:\ProgramData\KORG\TRITON\Resource

can we load them in to exterme triton edition ?
and were exactly we should paste them ?

since RET released it and im having a blast playing with the sounds in those banks but i want to add those exb-pcm banks too
if someone knows please share solution here

The hardware TRITON Extreme didn't have external PCM cards (or any slots to install them) -- every sound expansion board that was available for the OG Triton was actually pre-installed on the Extreme when you bought it. I'm not sure how the software version may differ from that, but if you check the Extreme's instrument browser, you'll probably see that it has all the same sounds (and possibly some new ones) that the regular Triton has ... just not in the form of "external PCM cards".

Also, the only real difference between the two hardware boards, aside from everything being pre-installed on the Extreme, was a USB port instead of FireWire 400 and the whole "Valve Force" thing, which was just a real vacuum tube for adding analog saturation on the outputs.

(Edit: now that I have the TRITON Extreme myself, I can confirm that it has most of, if not all of, the same sounds that the OG TRITON has, including the stuff on the extra cards ... maybe a few different ones thrown in. If you have both the TRITON and the TRITON Extreme, I believe the main difference is being able to add and control tube saturation on the outputs of the Extreme. Otherwise, they're pretty much the same.)

thank you RETSU and DECIBELLE, hi Iggy. so that valve force thing.. it really is a thing but whether its a good or bad one comes down to pick of the litter. I first learned about that with the Ol' vox tonelab (SE, the big blue one) it had so many problems i kept returning it to the factory and they would send me a different one. until one worked. well inadvertently had the opportunity to play on about 6 of them in my own home. each one was so different than the last i couldnt believe they had the same paint job. in the end it was a great board, and was stolen by a crack head.
so i guess the point is, dont smoke crack lol. and glad to hear about the banks

"OG" was once used correspondingly as an acronym of "Original Gangster". But now in 2021 it seems to have developed into a fast (lazy) way to replace writing the word "Original". Even though it's only one word, not two or more words like most acronyms have, "OG" stresses the O and G letters found in the word "OriGinal".

It seems it is not possible. But no problem at all...For the exb-pcm banks simply use TRITON and for the additional 7 Factory banks use TRITON Extreme. You can use both versions simultaniously.

The additional PCM banks of the TRITON are the additional factory banks of the TRITON Extreme. It was one of the main selling points of the hardware TRITON Extreme: it came with all the extra sounds pre-installed. You couldn't install additional PCM cards (or anything else) on the Extreme.

But they dont have the same names then. I searched for some of the PCM Banks from the TRITON VSTi in the TRITON Extreme VSTi with the search function...and couldnt find them.

TRITON Extreme has 7 additional Factory Sound banks, but is missing the exb-pcm banks of the TRITON. But you can use both versions simultaniously.

I'm unlucky with keygen, it appeared demo version, if i uninstall R2R's Emulator, Old products from R2R doesn't work. Thanks for help

For "old" synths only: simply wait for updates by RET, or grab lastest "Try Demo" from Korg (via their Software Pass). To do this, you need a KORG Id (aka account, it's free), download/install the official KORG Software Pass application (not the emulator), then download the lastest version of instrument(s) - as Try Demo - you'll want to use/test.

Many previous instruments are updated to v2.2.0 (BTW greater than R2R have provided many months ago), except TRITON and ARP ODYSSEY, both updated to 1.3.0. Don't know about MDE-X (I don't have downloaded it)...

Version 2.2.0 and 1.3.0 seem work fine with RET's KORG3_KeyGen (ran once). Successfully tested as VSTi (only):

- M1 v2.2.0.
- TRITON v1.3.0 & TRITON Extreme v1.0.0.
- ARP ODYSSEY v1.3.0,
- Prophecy v1.0.0.
- miniKORG v1.0.0.
- Polysix v2.2.0.
- MonoPoly v2.2.0.
- MS-20 & MS-20FX v2.2.0.
- WAVESTATION v2.2.0.

For some reason none of this releases doesn't work and do not get registered on my machine... I even tried to run kg as a admin, but no luck.... BTW, all official installers works excellent with old R2R emulator, but Prophecy and miniKorg ...
