The FET Compressor is an impressively faithful modeling of a device loved for its aggressiveness and its tendency to add some tasty distortion to the sound source when driven hard.

This compressor loves to be slammed and abused. But few things are so good they can't be improved, so we added a couple of nice features that makes it even more flexible than the hardware original.

So 1176, MU, DBX, SSL, LA2A etc.. x40 = A very, very long list of plugins for you!

I found it interesting that out of all the legendary hardware, no one DSP company has nailed them all, most companies do one or two things well.

as long it is always some progress, things getting better and better by days, it's more than enough. but not compressors! you can't have enough of that! I love compressors and EQs. Addicted to them.

All of what you've listed and Im a fan of Distressors (sknote, deflactor, arousor, fg stress), diode (neve, chandlers), ADR compex, Op-amps (API), those Vulf compressors, Altecs and Abbey Road's, the new "digital" Weiss. I think I have more than 200 compressors plugins (Ive collected from here. Crazy about em. what do I do with my life without Audioz, R2R and V.R. big thanks to these people.

None of the people out there that I'm sure of use more than 4, maybe total 6 in total - of the same model - : no discrepancies. Massenburg ( again ) so rarely. Clearmountain ( again ) so rarely on the important bass and drums. Plus a bit of that SSL grey thing. ( Detailed interviews on YT too. )


yeah you are right, i usually use that much, 4-5. it is just I feel good, whenever a situation that needed the compressor presents itself, I will know which one to use to get the best out of the situation.

But I fear it'll take you 200 hours to listen to each, multiplied by 200... That's a lot.

No idea of why all this Softube plugins doesn't work. When loaded they take more time than normally do other plugins. It takes then time to the music start and the plugin doesn't do anything. No needles movement, nothing can't be adjusted. Nothing. With plugins from other companies I don't have that "problems". Any suggestions?

go to settings icon in any one of softube plugin and disable openGL setting then reload the daw, boom all of the plugins load very fast.

Sorry to bother, but now some of the Softube plugins don't open in Studio One V5 but they do open in Cakewalk or Reaper. Any idea of why this is happening?

I have S 1 V5, Windows 10 and 16 mb of ram.
Thanks in advance for any help.

PD - I found out how to fix it....thanks anyhow.
