There seem to be two types of mix engineers: those who own a pair of the original units this plug is inspired by, and those who want to. I can't give you the original, but I can give you my twisted take on it.

For starters, I tweaked the distortions to make them fuzzier, because I have a fondness for dirt & grime. I added a 250Hz sidechain HPF option which leaves all bass frequencies uncompressed, as well as a 6kHz sidechain 'push' to smooth out harsh, aggressive stuff.

Most compressors press sounds back, this one pushes them forward. The original is in every million dollar studio, now my version can be in yours.

I think the Sly Fy release are not properly cracked as they crash sometimes when interacting with the knobs.

Same here. Opening and closing ui (all/any sly-fi plugin) several times, crashes daw (reaper, live...). Bummer.

Windows 10 20H2. Randomly crashing in Reaper 6.19 when an open FX window is closed.
One crash happened when selecting presets.

Lost good kick & snare setup before when fx were closed.

Lost good mix further into a second try after closing fx windows for piano.

Although light on memory & CPU, each plugin takes the buffer size of sound device.

1 EQ + 1 Comp = 256 samples at a 128 sample buffer size as an example.
