hey guys
great to see an update on a great plugin. thanks to R2R for this one. but i have had strange behaviour of the first r2r version and now this one as well in Cubase Pro (vers. 8.5). The issue is, that often (though not always) when i put this on a snare in a mix and then export the track (either as a solo track or in the whole mix) as a .wav file, the first snare of the exported track is way too low in volume. possibly its not playing the dry signal on the very first snare, only the reverb. doesen't occur when playing the song in cubase, only on exports. but the issue, once it occurs in a project can not be fixed by closing vss3 and reopening a new instance, but only by taking it off the snare channel and use another reverb for that particular channel. it's really quite weird and annoying.
i don't know if it really happens only with snares, but it has been only noticeable for me on snare channels (can't miss it, as it really sucks, when the first snare doesn't hit in your song! ). Possibly it has something to do with snares being comparably loud and have sharper transients by their nature, than other things i've used vss3 on. well, that's about the only explanation i could think of.
also, it has happend pretty much only in quite busy projects towards the final stage, whith quite a lot of active plugins and various active instances of vss3, so maybe it's somhow ressource relative.
any ideas or similar experiences, anyone?
