Hello! How can I download waves instruments plugins like BASS FINGERS, RHODES, etc. without downloading their sample libraries in waves central? When I select BASS FINGERS it says 2.23GB size.

Is there a way?

Waves Central does it all for you once you select one of these Instruments with Library,
You can also select an install folder for the Libraries under Settings.

Thanks for replying but I dont want to download sample libraries at all. When Im selecting plugin then it's showing that 2.23gb will be downloaded. I dont want libraries at all. Is there a way to de-select it.

Hi , Under the plugin Title there are two tabs
SD & HD , whichever one is blue click on it (usually SD is selected)
So that it gets unchecked.
Then on the right hand side there will be a warning saying Instrument sample library is not being installed , click -OK.

Who cares? Last V9 plugins work just fine, although I don't use Waves, but heard from other people who do. V10 was just some kind of a transitional version to v11 which was kinda OK, but then all of a sudden they come out with v12 that is W10 only... weird. Well, we're living in "interesting times", and weird things are happening everywhere. Businesses get ruined, price cuts everywhere... More weirdness yet to come. :(

I consider software as hardware. When it works without a hickup, I use it and only upgrade to the last version of the main version [if you know what I mean - usually the most stable version]. Not upgrading anything for the sake of upgrading, unless it's my NAS. :)

They said the same thing about v11, and will say the same about v13, but the fact that that's a selling point is a bit desperate. You could release a new version every year with no new features at all, and still say that. Ironically, the best way to "stop worrying about software compatibility and focus on creating great things" is to take the attitude that if it ain't broke, don't fix it, and just get on with using what you've got without forever updating everything.

installing waves plugins is always such a hassle to me... so far I never had trouble with R2R releases, so I guess I'll wait on this one

Hi there I have posted here a few times but have never had a response, I really want to install this so I'm hoping someone can help me out!

I'm looking at the instructions included in the .txt file but there are some questions left unanswered, can someone clear some things up for me?

I have downloaded all 5 .rar files that this page linked me to. What I don't understand is how to link them all together. The instructions tell me to put the folder into my /public area on my mac (Catalina) then run the install.cen file. Here's my question: before I run the instal.cen file, do all 5 .rar folders (5 because this page links you to download 5 "parts" need to be sorted into one single folder, or is it fine to just have them all separately sitting in the /public area?
