Massive X is Native Instruments’ new flagship synth, built by the same team as its predecessor. update? more shit presets? I have many hundred self created presets but it add more, time wasting scanning and tagging? argon8 is you choice, it cost less, best sound, never crashes, doesn't need update frequently, no more shit presets, and it's real synth, also has vst soft running with your daw.

it cost less? a fine argon8 is 600 bucks... the fucking massive x 200! the argon8 is a piece of hardware, not a fair comparison moneywise. your other arguments are without any doubt correct :-)

mate do not compare the modal 8 to massive x. first of all yea its hardware and i have it too and i have an hydra too. but argon8 is a very basic synth compared to the massive x power. ... really massive X is having 10000x more options and features

What windows version do you have installed? What CPU do you have? I know you need an AVX compatible CPU maybe that's the reason:
"Windows 7, 8, 10 (64-bit, latest Service Pack)
Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPU, 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended)
Please note: MASSIVE X requires an AVX-compatible CPU to run."
I don't know if without an AVX-compatible CPU the plugins runs anyway but in a bad way or doesn't run at all.

Don't know about Oboom really, i never use that, you didn't told me if you have a AVX compatible CPU or not, you should check online about your model, maybe the issue is there, even if other plugins works doesn't mean anything, really a few plugins need AVX compatible CPU for what i know so it could be your problem.
