Sample import
With Padshop Pro, sound designers and creatives can use their own samples and recordings to fuel Padshop’s granular synthesis engine. Record new sounds in Cubase and drag-and-drop the file directly to Padshop Pro to create your individual sound presets. Own samples can also be imported from the MediaBay or via the convenient import browser into Padshop Pro. WAV and AIF formats with a length of up to ten minutes are supported.

The FXpert
With two additional effects, Padshop Pro covers all you need to create your own spectacular granular synthesis presets.
The Pro version comes with a 3-band parametric EQ for each layer. With a frequency range from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and a variable Q for the mids, the equalizer lets you increase the clarity and smoothness of your custom presets and gives you the chance to edit the sounds precisely from the first step.

Can someone please help me to get this thing working? I have NEVER gotten PadShop to work . I've been trying since 1.2
I finally got it to where it's showing all expansions are registered, but when I load the plugin inside of Studio One 4.6 it tells me that the eLicencer spit out an error. I've updated to the latest version of the eLicencer & that solved the problem I had with it not registering anything. But now this.... I WANT IT.... I WANT! I WANT! I WANT! I WANT! I WANT IT!
Daddy please fix it! Or I'm gonna tell mommy you was over Mrs. Barbara's house last Saturday night when you were supposed to be out with the fellas bowling!

The only true version of Cubase that has ever been done across the board for everyone that installed it was by H20 and Cubase 5. As a Cubase owner, the reason this happened is because it was done completely differently and the dongle was a single file on the HDD which was recognised immediately upon loading without doing any redirection or software manipulation to recognise virtual trial installations. H20 used an EEPROM to read the dongle data and write it to a file.
I have no objections to anyone that successfully uses this as it is your choice, but if anyone owns a dongle and you value your software, don't because it's not the same. Also, it probably won't work or have it's own unique issues as it alters the licensing of your legitimate software.

for this reason after the great success of the breakdown of CUBASE 5 H20 and AIR, Steinberg decided to reinforce his protection and since then his Dongle has MCFACT code that no team can decipher it, that's why CUBASE PRO can not come anymore out, and the current versions released by the TEAM V.R are completely unstable, because they had to increase the memory load in order to insert different patches inside the binary code of CUBASE PRO. so for now and probably forever, we will only see unstable test versions. if one day TEAM VR decides to release CUBASE PRO, without having modified the delay compensation plug-in, then we will have a stable "CUBASE PRO" that can be used only with the new Plugin 0 Latency , at least this will already be a big step.

And so I wonder, if one has Omnisphere is there any reason to try this...
It may be that omnisphere will cover anything this can do, but sometimes the interface adds creativity. Of course we are all humans with similar hardware, so some things will be commonly better or worse, but our softwares are more varied and so what we like varies.
So, I am looking at reviews ...and looking at the controls ....

Some times ago I tried to install Padshop but (strange) It worked right only on my laptop but not on my desktop PC.
License error...
So I downloaded this, install elicenser, software and fake elicenser but PadShop tell me "No valid license detected".
Someone has a solution for this issue?

I tried but it's ininfluent. From time in time plugin starts, but usually there is a license error.
Studio One blacklisted it.
Only Cantabile once every 4 or 5 errors can open Padshop.
Same error in all Steinberg plugins: The Grand 3, Retrologue, PadShop.

No wonder such errors happen...

In one side, you have a team of probably 5 or + top developers/engineers/ cryptology experts, at steinberg, using 30 years of research, and utilizing the latest tools, algorithms, scientific papers, crazy theories, and they can stack 50 different protection schemes...like one thing encrypts the other, another one hides the other, then another one applies a second encryption... sone crazy shit I don't even imagine....

... and on the other side, we have V.R. (or probably, or rather, surely, R2R), that must guess how everything works, how the dongle works, how the app calls the dongle, while also taking into account the user data linked to the dongle...

Come on... it's like someone , totally blind, diving in an empty swimming pool, full of M&Ms, in absolute darkness, and someone tells us " among those 10 billions M&Ms, they ate all green, excepting 3, that are blue. Now, try to find the 3 blue ones ! "

This is more or less the task of VR or any other guy, when they want to crack an app, and don't have any idea how everything works...

Can't get this to install on Windows 7 x64 ultimate.
The Setup.exe file crashes when i run it.
I am not running any AV software.
I suspect this is the same Setup.exe that is packed inside the Padshop_1.2.20_Installer_win.exe and the Halion 6 installer i downloaded from steinberg.

Installed padshop pro (step 1) on windows 7, installed the padshop content (step 2) on an external drive. Then went for the medicine (step 3) and this happens during step 3:

"Application 'LCC2' has caused the following error: DCOM connection to program 'Synsopos.exe' failed."

Yes, I opened the medicine with administrator rights. What's going wrong here?
