β€’ The reported latency was too small when a sample rate other than 44100 Hz was used.
β€’ Fixed a sound glitch that could occur if a host requested less than 16 samples.

Drums Tab
β€’ It no longer crashes on Mac if you ctrl-click a stack pad and select a different sound from the context menu.

Grooves Tab
β€’ Changing position in a browser groove being played in original tempo caused the looping to jump back to the wrong position.
β€’ During browser playback with β€œPreview in Original Tempo” active, mixer effects that sync to tempo now use the correct tempo.

So... I guess this means bounced to audio drums at 88.2k would have always been a bit off the mark (very small MS)?????

as an update, I confirmed it myself... at 88.2k the previous version bounced audio files were 32 samples 'late' on the timeline after bouncing. The delay reported in PT was zero on past version but 32 samples now (at 88.2k).

So... I've been shifting my audio back after bounce ever since using this but was unsure how much was right, but had noticed a slight lateness in the waveforms, thanks to this update I can kiss that PITA goodbye. Thanks VR!

Finally, VR give us the option not to install a bunch of chaotic MIDI packs.
Now I can easily keep my MIDI library folder as I've arranged.

Help gauys, the release is excelent but I have a problem loading all my EZX that I've got on another drive. I try to add the path but it says that there are no sound libraries.

Thank you if anyone can help.

Weird thing i notice when messing with Toontrack...
On a clean install I have "Superior Drummer 3" folders and "Superior3" folders in "ProgramData" and "Documents".
It seems like a redundancy but maybe for backward compatibility?
I'd like to delete the redundant folders,if they really are... but on this install the "ProgramData\Superior Drummer 3" folder contains all the 'program data' type data.
AND the "ProgramData\Superior3" folder is not empty, but contains the "errlog.doc" file (it states "MIDI SQLError: No MIDI exists in EZHome").
I don't know if this is Toontrack disorganization, but it seems so sloppy.

I don't get it...

I tried to download this and EZ drummer and both times it said could not load the midi library and had no sounds... Disappointing to see everyone having success but I can't get either one to work :((

This is just the updated app itself, without sounds. Did you install any sound library? Search for the core library for EZDrummer or Superior Drummer on this site.
If the core library for Superior Drummer 3 (32.62 GB) is too large for you, you can use a smaller SDX library as well, depending on your likes e.g. Music City or Custom & Vintage which comes with around 10 GB each and are quite good. ItΒ΄s possible to use EZX Libraries inside Superior Drummer but not SDX Libraries inside EZDrummer. You can save the libraries to a certain HDD/SSD and point to it inside the app.

This seems to not like the Metal! EZX. Is there a fix for it?

It won't recognize any of my EZDrummer libraries no matter which path I choose. I see others have the same problem. Help anyone?
EDIT: I solved it. During the installation for the "MIDI Library Destination" select the location of EZDrummer libraries.

When i open VST version after this update i get a missmatch saying the resources are 3.1.7 but plugin 3.1.6 . The standalone works fine and shows both at 3.1.7. Can anyone help please?

Found the culprit a 3.1.6 Dll file in the wrong place not deleted leading Ableton to see that one before the new one lol
