No, it's just included in the Slate bundle for their paid subscribers.

*This isn't any different to what R2R released only a few days ago from what I can tell.

R2R or V.R to release the slate digital bundle, that would be a dream.
Like if you agree mates.

are these Slate products that great?
I can remember Ive downloaded that huge Slate Reverb plugin here that is pretty old for now but people seem to love it...im just curious why a 4Gb verb should be better than the good fashioned valhalla line-up

Their tape plugin is good, not really keen on the rest of their own plugins. They're OK, bt nothing special... Very overrated.

They've just released a new parametric eq, bt I still think fabfilter Q3 beats it.

This kilohearts bundle isn't developed by Slate and is a decent bundle of random tools...definitely worth having.

it's just way too easy to "over-tool" urself with all these bundles from great companies.
You can only use so many EQs, Compressors, Delays, Reverbs, etc. at a time :D

Nothing can hold it own against fabfilter Q3 .

You can't compare a convolution reverb (Slate) with another one based on algorithms (Valhalla), two different things, no matter what brand is. There's no better or worse to me, just different, convolution reverb is kinda better sounding but with less control on it, especially on Slate one, just that. There's no better or worse version, just a different approach, convolution is based on irs (impulse response audio files from different reverb sources) recorded on different places, algorithm recreates the same conditions with other techniques. That's why Slate Digital reverb is bigger in size, like Audio Ease Altiverb, same thing. IRs on Slate reverb are provided from LiquidSonics, they use ir but in a different way, they have their own plugins too, i prefer their plugin (Reverberate 2) over Slate one, if you are curious they explain this difference way better than me here:

Yeah LiquidSonics seems to have made some nice advances in reverb technology. And in copy protection LOL

I personally think T-Racks 5 and FabFilter bundles are better than Slate. But I also like some from Brainworx and Waves. As for effects Valhalla and Sound Toys are great and I kind of like Native Instruments Raum. I kind of mix and match depending on the track at the moment then top them off with OZone in mastering.
