A0 Parametric Equalizer x86 VST WiN [free]

MAAT eqs, PSP MasterQ2 also done with 80 bit precision, but PSP MasterQ2 has precision of npt less 64 bit float, as I see in schwa bitter v3, but MAAT eqs are 32 bit float, and this old free eq has way more distortion even without SAT on). Few other developers "use" that 80bit stuff. And in all cases I saw this implemented only in EQs. Another examples - Chris form Airwindows uses 80 bit internally in plugins.
But many guys say it is marketing bullshit, 64 bit float is enough. 80 bit is CPU hungry and maths for that stuff is difficult, complex etc. BTW it makes almost zero sense vs 64 bit float double precision. FabienTDR (TDR - TokyoDawnLabs) said that their almost(or already all) plugins updated to 64 bit float audio processing input/output, and uses some "80 bit accumulators" for that stuff, at same time calling this marketing BS.
IMHO this only done for not to truncate at 64 bit float while processing. or so. don't know. So i don't know how this works or should work. For me, the true precision is 64 bit float like DMG audio, apqualizr2, voxengo, TDR, airwindows and more. Waves, fabfilter, izotope, ddmf, maat, acon, brainworx are 32 bit float mostly, if not full bundles of them.
