QA, QB and QG vintage American console equalizer plug-ins support VST, VST3, AU and AAX plugin formats.

QA Features

Low Frequency Shelving/Peaking.
Five selectable center frequencies: 50Hz, 100Hz, 200Hz, 300Hz and 400Hz.
Mid Frequency Peaking
Five selectable center frequencies: 400Hz, 800Hz, 1.5kHz, 3kHz and 5kHz.
High Frequency Shelving/Peaking
Five selectable center frequencies: 5kHz, 7kHz, 10kHz, 12.5kHz and 15kHz.
Band Pass Filter: Fixed bandwidth: 50Hz to 15kHz.
The amount of boost or attenuation is continuously variable from -12 dB to 12 dB.

QB Features

Low Frequency Shelving/Peaking.
Seven selectable center frequencies: 30Hz, 40Hz, 50Hz, 100Hz, 200Hz, 300Hz and 400Hz.
Low Mid Frequency Peaking.
Seven selectable center frequencies: 75Hz, 150Hz, 180Hz, 240Hz, 500Hz, 700Hz and 1kHz.
High Mid Frequency Peaking.
Seven selectable center frequencies: 800Hz, 1.5kHz, 3kHz, 5kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz and 12.5kHz.
High Frequency Shelving/Peaking.
Selectable filter type: Shelving or Peaking. Seven selectable center frequencies: 2.5kHz, 5kHz, 7kHz, 10kHz, 12.5kHz, 15kHz and 20kHz.
The amount of boost or attenuation is continuously variable from -12 dB to 12 dB.

QG Features

The QG plug-in is a ten-band fixed frequency graphic equalizer divided into one octave increments. The center frequencies of each band are set at 31Hz, 63Hz, 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz and 16kHz. The amount of boost or attenuation is continuously variable from -12 dB to 12 dB on all bands.
QA, QB and QG Common Features

Extremely High Processing Efficiency.
“Proportional Q” narrows filter bandwidth.
Proprietary topology which is optimized for low latency, low noise and high dynamic range.
Built-in reference-quality upsampling algorithm which can be enabled at sampling frequencies 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz to achieve bell shape symmetry at high frequencies.
Supports sampling frequencies up to 384 kHz.
Clickless parameter update.

Looks like API 550A, 550B and 560 clones. A lot of positive Reviews on Gearslutz… interesting.

Really????????? I thought the description is the lie and developers are liers
Joke)
But for truth, it is needed to be tested, measured, analyse and compare.

less colored and more mix-friendly than the Waves bundle imo...

One guy from gearslutz said one of their eqs almost nulls with Ableton's stock EQ, it means he adjust it so that they are both equal, and there is no difference. Don't know about ableton and its stuff, but too strange..

I don't care what that guy said, i think these are the best sounding Eq plugins i've ever heard. So powerful and so transparent

I know they do, but I've never said that about any plugin before, and Ive been using plugins for 20 years. This thing sounds incredible, try it. the top end is amazing! And this is coming from a person who uses Algorithmix Eqs as well as DMG EQuality.
What i like is how fast you dial in something, its so CPU friendly with zero latency also. Its changed my life and workflow for the better.

I also did a quick A/B test with their 550A against the API 500A from Waves on a hip-hop Beat side by side with the same setiings and I prefered the Waves over the Volko. The bass was more defined and the hi end sounded crispier to me. Maybe it's the colour

well of course it's obviously subjective... was just my two cents...

No harmonics, the shape button just changes the phase so you aren't cramping up on higher frequencies. You can just use a wider Q on any other eq and get basically the same sounds.

I was wondering what that shape button does. Thanks for the info.

You can add harmonics easily since there are like 666 different saturation plugins. ;)

Anybody else having an issue with the plugin GUIs not showing?

The plugins install, authorize, run and process audio but the plugin window won't display.

-Running OS X 10.11 and have tried using with multiple DAWs all with the same results.

I had issues when changing the size of the gui. I had to close and reopen the window so it would display properly. Definitely a workfliw bummer. I think for 200 $ this should work flawlessly. I think it could be related to screen resolution. Did you check it? Maybe that solves it.

I tried changing the resolution just to test, no luck.

Really good sounding and very easy to use EQs. I really dig the spartan and absolutely functional look. Everything is easy to see and use. I would like to see sweepable frequencies on HP/LP filters. Why imposing artificial limits, it is software, not hardware. ;)

I only don't appreciate the fact that 95% of the DLLs is bitmap graphics for the 3 different GUI sizes, though. They could have done the GUIs with vectors and their sizes would be 300KB each, or just make the different size skins installable separately. This way the DLL of one of their EQs is almost the size of my whole DAW [REAPER].
