Seen a lot of hype and excitement for soothe. Do you think this can be a good replacement for it?

It's not a 100% replacement for Soothe. This one works good on drums, guitar, etc. but distorts so bad on vocals. Soothe does not. Soothe is really smooth and almost flawless and unfortunately un-crack-able as of this time.
Come here just to try the software and buy it afterwards.
If I don't like the software I will just DELETE it.

Thank you. Yeah I've noticed a lot of people talk about the lack of Soothe. Surprises me because from what I know the protection is the same as in other iLok plugins that got released. Anyway, this is likely so I'll stop talking about it.

It's hard to compare. Depends on material one uses, plugin settings, one's hearing preferences and habits. No absolute criteria, I believe.
Anyway, all of those plugins are very good at their jobs, and you can also use them in conjunction.

This is surprisingly useful. I definitely experienced some distortion, but this plugin really helped me get some troublesome acoustic guitars to sit in the mix.
