When If necessary, uninstall previously installed versions of plug-ins.
If previously plug-ins were present in the OS,
then in avoiding conflicts when creating symbolic links in place of existing folders
make sure that there are no folders with the names listed in [[[For reference. SCHEME OF COPYING]]].
