What's New in 5.6.8

- ADDED New KSP built-in variable ($NI_CONTROL_PAR_IDX) returns the index of the element triggering a UI callback; applies to tables and the XY Pad
- CHANGED Add & Activate Library buttons now launch Native Access which now also supports 3rd party Libraries
- FIXED The frame rate would drop significantly if multiple waveform displays were used on a KSP UI
- FIXED The Missing Samples dialog would always suggest the default user folder instead of the folder the NKIs are in
- FIXED Crash when switching to Mini View under circumstances
- FIXED Using get_control_par() with $CONTROL_PAR_ALLOW_AUTOMATION now returns the correct value instead of always 0
- FIXED Certain Bank properties would be discarded when re-saving NKSNs
- KNOWN ISSUE The documentation is not up to date

Works with already added libs.. But adding a new one does not, it asks for Native Access to continue with this action..

It may have to do with earlier installs or something..

Can anyone cofirm whether in this release they have cracked the 'CHANGED Add & Activate Library buttons now launch Native Access which now also supports 3rd party Libraries'. Or is it a problem with adding new libraries?

Well, i cant get it to work so im going back to earlier version. But maybe im doing it wrong since i havnt tried other than 5.6.6 version before. But if someone knows and like to share feel free to do so..

Same problem...remove previous version of kontakt.
run "Kontakt 5 Symlink Installer.exe". Done and works fine with the libs that have add in the preview versions...but can't not ad new. And I see nothings else for add bottom than just there..pitty, now that it works for me this version can't not yet add my new libs that ask higher version.
work before with the :Native Instruments Kontakt v5.5.2 (Full) Unlocked-Tracer.
cus this was the only version that works for me and for add libs. the other no instals versions did not work, it load kontakt5 but not open the window ui.
Music,Hardware and software it should be for everybody.

How about keeping the v5.5.2 exe around just for adding libraries? Would that work?

Same problem here. Can't load libraries.
BTW, I just replaced the .exe, I didn't do a full install.

Maybe try no to replace the Kontakt.exe file? Maybe this is where the R2R is needed now?

First this done, ''remove previous version of kontakt.
run "Kontakt 5 Symlink Installer.exe" after that It can't not replace the kontakt exe files. even if I restart my computer, for shure that everthing is clossed...but can't not replace. it says" The operation can not be completed because the folder or file in the folder is opened in another program.
Please close the folder or file and try again."
I have never had problems installing and updating with kontakt 5 and also usually with other programs, I can follow and install without problems. But since kontakt 5 has been completely renewed, is the problem started for kontakt 5.

loading a project in Reaper, that has Kontakt loaded as a plugin, takes ages in my case.

Happens only when starting Reaper, and it automatically loads the last project:
- If the project has Reaper as a plugin, it freezes for a long while (20+ minutes)
- If the project doesn`t have Reaper loaded as a Plugin, it loads as usual, in a few seconds

...no problems with adding Libraries here.

Dont want to sound harsh SYMLiNK Versionl was a god idea to avoid using a Keygen Version
but
Now everybody knows why R2R released their Version with a Keygen this was in advance as they saw it coming that this was hapening with all NI Products ...
Native Access was the answer from NI against Piracy
So my direction is clear trust R2R as they know what they are doing even if we have to wait for an Update for their Keygen
