Been waiting for this release for Mac... since there are NI releases that require this update to work and has already been released for Windows/PC. Can anyone help?? It would be immensely appreciated by all of us Appleheads!! Many thanks!!

KONTAKT 5 takes a bold leap forward with 37 new filters, four new on-board studio effects, updated time-stretching, a new instrument bus system and more. As you will see from the new STUDIO DRUMMER, for example, it's a deep-rooted update to the KONTAKT platform, allowing us — and you — to create even better instruments and more powerful, expressive sounds.

What's New in 5.6.8

- ADDED New KSP built-in variable ($NI_CONTROL_PAR_IDX) returns the index of the element triggering a UI callback; applies to tables and the XY Pad
- CHANGED Add & Activate Library buttons now launch Native Access which now also supports 3rd party Libraries
- FIXED The frame rate would drop significantly if multiple waveform displays were used on a KSP UI
- FIXED The Missing Samples dialog would always suggest the default user folder instead of the folder the NKIs are in
- FIXED Crash when switching to Mini View under circumstances
- FIXED Using get_control_par() with $CONTROL_PAR_ALLOW_AUTOMATION now returns the correct value instead of always 0
- FIXED Certain Bank properties would be discarded when re-saving NKSNs
- KNOWN ISSUE The documentation is not up to date

It was on audioz for a few days but disappear. It works fine on logic. you can directly update NI library from their server-----> but is it safe ? Because they can see all your cracked libs :)

NI Service Center (the old centralised solution before Native Access) also had access to all libraries - seeing them "Demo" so nothing changed actually.

I was reading earlier about having to patch the component file for 5.6.8 to work in Logic X but now I cannot find the feed. Does anyone know the terminal command for patching the .component file?

Hi Everyone! I can't add the Keyscape Library ( for KONTAKT) to this new version of Kontakt. The Native Access can't recognize it. Thanks or your support! Regards

Hi everyone, i solved this problem, everything works perfect.
I am a mac user and the OS I use is elcapitan 10.11.6.

You have got to have 5.4.1. 5.6.5. installers plus the k'ed 5.6.6 standalone and k'ed 5.6.8 AU component

Without 5.4.1 you can not install 5.6.5
Anyway here it is what i have done

1. Instal first kontakt 5.4.1 do nothing
2. After that install 5.6.5
3. Replace the AU component 5.6.5 with the (k'ed) 5.6.8
4. Replace the standalone version 5.6.5. with the (k'ed) 5.6.6

After this you can add libraries to the standalone 5.6.6 and they show up in your daw in kontakt 5.6.8. I did not try it with vst, but i think that works the same.

Forgot to mention, the standalone 5.6.6. adds the newest libraries too, like kinetic toys or thrill for example !
