Well, this isn't working with nki releases so I had to back to v6.6.1. Only shows Demo...
It also deleted my Quick-Load dir with all instruments... Wonder if that is some xml file issue maybe...

Using Catalina

If someone has a solution for the Demo issue with nki instruments that it would be a real present for us all...

Followed all the instructions step by step..

Installed, patched, run the sudo command ecc...

still got "Impossible to open..Apple can't verify malware ecc..."

PLEASE HELP

(codesigning what is?)

I initially got that same error after running the sudo command...

Hold OPTION and double click the stand-alone app and it will give you the same warning but with an option to OPEN. Click Open and all should be well. I only had to do that one time, now opens as normal.

First of all, Thank You Trazor!

On M1 Monterey, I followed all the instructions. The standalone app works well, after a couple of tries by holding control and clicking Open.

Regarding the vst3:

I have replaced the patched file in the vst3 location, and also tried running the codesign command sudo codesign -f -s - --deep /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/Kontakt.vst3

Apple doesn't open the file as it's from an "unrecognized developer". If you go to System Preferences/Privacy & Security you will see on the bottom "Allow apps downloaded from" and then you will most likely see a button "Open Anyway" for Kontakt.vst3

To change these settings you will have to unlock the lock on the bottom left as usual by entering your password. In my case, I was clicking the "Open Anyway" tab without any effect.

The only command that worked for me was sudo spctl --master-disable which basically allows apps to be opened from Anywhere. After I ran the command in Terminal I restarted the Mac.

Now the VST3 shows up in Ableton and works flawlessly!

Anyone here getting this Kontakt release to work with earlier installed libraries and quickload libraries? Only Demos here and all libraries are gone from the Quickload directory.. I'm on Mac Catalina OSX.

Will be keen to read replies. I gave up with kracked Kontakt and caved in to buy the legit app. Still eager to try a good K'd version though for all those other libraries.

I had the legit version also but I use the K'd once for all those other libraries. 6.6.1 is the latest version that works for me...

Got it to launch after a couple of terminal attempts but instruments still say demo in window. So no different.
