Hi, I'm on Win 11 and it seems that the VST3 version didn't come with a license because I get a message that says my license expired and it wants to take me to the Cradle Hub. Anyone else had this issue? The AAX version works fine though. In regards to the blackout problem, just make the plugin inactive and active again to fix it. Cheers.

I just let it run on an audio loop for 30 mins, and did a bunch of stuff in the background, and it kept on working and stayed visible.
Windows, Sonar.

I simply throw it on my Master Bus just to annoy the neighbours

Win10 / Ableton11 -> got timebomb'd

Added 3 instances of "The God Particle". After 20 mins, one instance stopped and displayed a black screen. Other 2 instances continues running fine.
After 1.) deleting the non-playing plugin and 2.) undo the delete operation, the plugin continued to play (cheap workaround if you REALLY need this plugin).

So obviously the "Timebomb" part in this plugin wasn't cracked properly. FLARE, please try again, you can do it!!

So I usually don't install something that has been noted to have a timebomb, but I really wanted to see what this plug in would do to a mix, so I did. I use FL 20. I opened a blank project and just loaded a mixed track in and drop The God Particle on the master. I made no adjustments to anything. The mix definitely got louder and seemed to basically act as a limiter making the waveform more uniform from peaks to valleys. I let the track play in the background while working waiting for the loudness to decrease. I did not time it but the track played four or five times, so I'm sure the 20 minutes that has been referenced by others is correct. Once the face of the plugin turned black I tried reloading the plugin, but this didn't change anything, but then I deleted the plugin and added it back and it was good to go again. I am not sure that I will actually use this in my final mix, but if I do I will load it up and make any adjustments I need to within the twenty minutes, save that as a preset, delete the plugin, reload the plugin and bounce the track. I tested this and it did work. I compared the two files side by side and you can see that the waveform was affected. I hope this helps!

but i think it's intended to turn off the limiter to bounce?

Yeah seems to be a timebomb in there. It'll go black after a few hours of use for me. Turning off the internet and restarting the project/DAW fixes it for me. Mildly annoying but not a problem really.

After a couple of months of use i must say this plugin is really great. I was sceptical at first becaue it just seemed like basically a glorified preset, i thought it was a marketing money grab, but i tell ya what, whatever's going on in there is really amazing. It's got me googling what the algorithm is (to no avail). I wanna be able to do whatever the god particle's doing myself. For now, this plugin has been a mainstay on my mix bus, it stays there from start to finish. It brings out the best of your mix, it makes the groove feel really tasty, it glues things together in a way i don't understand. The indicators give me a feel for what i should be changing in the mix. It's great.

Something that is crazy to me is that it works on any genre. It has worked wonders for me on 3 mixes in COMPLETELY different genres: a pop-disco song, an acoustic singer-songwriter type song, and an indie-rock song. Sounded NICE every time.

For me this plugin is less of a "glorified multiband compressor preset" and more of a "gain staging meter" that happens to impart an awesome sound on your mix as well.

The key to this plugin is really in the input knob. E.g. having the input at +2 instead 0 will change the sound dramatically. You really gotta try to find tune the input and the "magic knob" simaltaenously to get to where you want to be. It's only 2 knobs but you really do get different feel from even just the slightest of variance in gain staging. Having the "magic" knob at 80% instead of 100% will get you a very different feel, even more so if you adjust the input too. I could spend hours trying different combos of input+magic because the slightest adjustments will change the way your speaker pushes air out. The 200% knob is almost like having 20 different "feel" options. Every song will require a different combo. It's really key not to drive the input too hard, but the indicators will tell you where to be. I recommend watching Jaycen Joshua's video explaining how to use it. Your mixes will thank you
