Output Arcade Sound Library Content V2 READ NFO-FLARE screenshot
Team FLARE | 17 October 2021 | 67.3 GB
RELEASE NUMBER: FLARE-1716

Output Arcade Sound Library Content for our Output Arcade V2 release.

Import using our "TEAM FLARE Output Arcade Utility Tool V2"

Notes: This library took 3 days to download even on high speed internet. The reason is because Arcade's download manager is really bad. It downloads a few files at a time but it still takes a very long time because each line has over 2000 files to download, especially the NoteKits.

It took more than 10 minutes to download 100 mb of data for 20 NoteKits.

Also when you click to download a full line, not all samples get downloaded so you have to go and manually find them and download them. We did this with some of the lines included in this release but not all since some had over 2000 samples missing. Why don't you add a "Download All Samples" button Mr. Output?

Why keep adding more and more Samples/Kits/Lines when you still have many bugs in your product? Maybe spend some time fixing those first.

Hi,
Thanks for this release.
Anyone knows how to place the library on an external hard drive?
I'm not really understanding the Utility tool (Enable sound design, Enable Kit creator, Export Lines & Import Lines).
Somebody knows how it works?
Thanks a lot :)

You can do it by the setting page in the Arcade application. It will copy the Folder “Arcade Content” from "C:\ProgramData\Output\Arcade" or "HD:\Applicaton Support\Output\Arcade” in Mac. When it done, you can delete the Original folder.

A little more on moving your library... I recommend doing what S1989 above states before you start installing a lot of data. Also, it appears that it copies the library not exactly moves it. Lastly, be cautious about deleting the older folder if you are thinking of that. I checked and the copied folder was not the same exact size as the original folder.

But theres Different, Newer Libraries & Patches in version 2 than are in version 1
Plus version 1 hasnt got the note menu.
We really need the up-to-date Version 2 menu.

Some tips about importing libraries:

1. Install and crack the Arcade application.

2. Change the location of the library on the Arcade settings page. (I placed it on a dedicated external drive, such as "K:\DAW Library\Arcade Content").
3. Move the zip package of all libraries to a hard disk other than the target hard disk (for example, "E:\Arcade Library Content". Because when the import operation is performed in Utility, the Zip will be first decompressed to the same directory, and then these files Copy to the set target location, it will be very slow when the ZIP installation package is located on the mechanical hard disk).
4. When using Utility to import operation, there is no need to wait until the software displays the completion prompt before proceeding to the next import operation. You can import the installation packages one by one, and then do something else. My own experience is that a 1 GB ZIP installation package takes about 10 minutes to be fully imported..

5. The database of the imported library resources is located in the Local.db file of "C:\ProgramData\Output\Arcade" (Win) or "HD:\library\Application Support\\Arcade" (Mac).
After importing all the libraries, the size of this file is about 32.5 MB (46 Zips). In fact, the import operation will continue to write the database into this file after the file is copied, so it is very time-consuming. You are importing In the process, you can see that the volume of this file is constantly expanding.

6. After importing all the libraries, you can back up this Local.db in case you need it. For me, I copied this file directly to another operating system, and the library was completely imported without re-importing.

That's all, and thanks FLARE.

Thank your for all the tips. After importing all the lines, my Arcade Content Folder is around 52 gb. Could you tell me how heavy is yours? I can’t finish to understand why is less heavy than the zip files (around 72gb)
Thanks!

This situation also bothers me. I imported all the ZIP files (46+new Patiles library), the original zip size is about 70GB, but my Arcade Content Folder is only 48GB (130,704 Files and 75,209 Folders).

yeah I commented about this earlier but apparently my comment was deleted now? My feeling is there is a problem with the utility not importing all the files, makes no sense that it would be that much smaller. mine is coming in at around 52gb too, anyone installed on main hd and not external drive? my thinking was maybe the problem is with installing to external drive, so maybe installing everything to hd first and then moving the full library from arcade settings afterwards would lead to all the files being installed properly. but of course that is very time consuming to do and inly sn assumption.. anybody got insights on this?

Thanks for the detailed explanation.
Question: when i click on the Lines button, it says "Currently Offline", cos of the host file blocking the connection, so that means that the Lines function isn't available on this FLARE version? or is there a workaround?
Same with the Feed button, but that i guess is a function to see and download stuff from Output website, which i don't mind.

I just want to know if i'm doing something wrong, or if it's expected that the Lines function isn't available.
Thanks

thank you very much for explaining the correct process, but if you don't mind we can ask you to share your local file with us. db, complete, writing us the exact path where you deposited your library? , in this way we will be able to try to modify some lines of code inside the file by associating them with our personal windows configuration, so we will just have to manually extract the libraries and copy them in the exact position, replacing the Local file. db, modified, avoiding to wait long hours, and finally they will work for all the Arcade 2 libraries. of the whole community, if you don't mind share it, and I can start immediately with the tests and the desired modification, ok? Thank you

I know what you mean, but the file structure of the resource library that directly decompresses the ZIP archive is different from that imported using Utility, so I think it is still necessary to use Utility to import.
In addition, I think the Local.db file just stores the imported resource library for identification of Arcade applications. The path.xml in the same directory defines the path of the resource library (following the settings on the settings page).
