All releases are updated Sonoma approved and have never been shared before. I certainly appreciate they come in one package rather than individual posts. But would be nice with a link to a torrent or a single link for RG premium users in addition to seperate parts. But if there's a problem with the patch, maybe better wait when on Intel.

I saw some people posting code here to make the installation streamlined. Here's my own contribution:

After you have extracted the archive, you can paste this code into a new file called install.command, and save it into the same directory where you see info.txt. In the case of this release, it's the directory called Arturia.V.Collection.X.v12.12.2023.macOS.

Use the free BatChmod app, or run chmod to grant eXecute permission to install.command.

Now double-click or run install.command from the terminal. It will first install all the packages, then it will patch them. It is very verbose, so you'll know it's running, but it will still take 5 to 10 minutes to complete.

You can use this script on all of hidera's Arturia earlier releases, and probably future releases too - but if the installer or patch directory names change in the future you can edit Lines 3 and 4 to reflect that.

yes textedit will work! create a New file, paste the code in, Save it as install.command. If it adds a .txt at the end you can just rename it later.

Maybe so. I only tried Augmented Woodwinds and Mini V4. So I am making assumptions. It it just doesn't make sense for people to go on thinking that the cracks are just for new gpu's. They are intended for Intel also. You can see it if you read the info in one of the patches. There are two separate patch areas; a set for x86_64 and a set for arm64. Both are present in the patches. Both stop the demo time out. Unfortunately, the x86_64 patch is causing the gui error. BTW, if this helps anyone figure anything out, 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 of Trazor's patches cause the GUI error, but 0.1.2 does not (but also doesn't patch it to rid the demo).

The last version which works on intel is Arturia V Collection 9 v13.01.2023 macOS, after this version the updates work only on Apple Silicon

This is the first version that doesn't work on intel if you use the silicon patch first and then Trazor's 0.1.1. patch second. So yes, maybe if you only use AZ versions, but there are other options out there that let you use up to v23.08.2023 macOS.

has anyone found a proper gui xml fix, yet ? same here on intel, all in but when open get that message. tried working it out but couldn't , anyone know for sure how to fix? all help appreciated ,thnx


ps think the apps are universal so should work on intel, and m series, I think?

The apps are just for Apple Silicon, when I run my DAW under rosetta they show the error gui xml but when I use my DAW on Apple Silicon they work prefectly

Ok I get ya ,??? wonder if the installers arnt universal? when I do apple and I (get info) on the app it says universal? cmd file shows 64 and arm in it also? can't work it out. thing is the xml thing that pops up, when I look the GUI file it mentions is in the folder . tried everything.will wait see if solution can be found, Thanks

If the installers weren't universal, then the apps would not lauch on Intel, I think.

Just to clarify some inaccurate and incorrect things:

1) The latest working version of Arturia also for Intel is: Arturia V Collection 9 v18.10.2023 macOS

2) It's not correct that the patch files (.command) of the version mentioned above don't crack the new plugs: the files are regularly patched but have a graphics problem which then prevents their use. This could be because additional protection not foreseen by the executed script has been added in the new Arturia plugs or simply the script needs a readjustment, at least for Intel.

3) The problem is caused by an .xml file that I've not yet managed to locate and which could be modified manually to bring the plug's display scale back to normal levels. I've already successfully solved a similar problem with the recently released Acustica plugs.

4) Nobody has yet clearly answered one of my questions: Are the .command files of this version NEW or are they the same as the previous version? Thanks for any useful information about it!

hi , I deleted that last version lol gutted will have to get it back. not sure if the cmd is the same until I redownload last one. one thing I noticed was in my resources was bmp folder with different sizes 60percent 80 pcnt etc. but when I downloaded from site I didn't see those in install dir,via pacifist. also it looks too big as in zoomed right in when I tried to open and that xml txt comes up. so wondered if they changed the zoom feature? no idea just wondering

I looked at the cmd from the Arturia fx n they look v similar

Yep I noticed it too but there are also parts from the previous patch. I believe this was an attempt to create a new patch but starting with the already flawed foundations. I too have already tried to reorganize the previous .comand files but without obtaining any useful results. A more competent 'hand' is needed to overcome the problem. Let's hope that whoever can do it will do the right job. Thanks anyway for the effort!

The patch is doing the same thing - for each of the VST, VST3, and Component files, replacing a specific string of bytes with a different value, and conditionally changing based on x86 vs. arm64.

The strings that it is finding and replacing are different between this one and the version prior, but everything else (the method it uses) is the same.

It looks like for whatever reason, on Intel macs, replacing that string fucks up something in how the XML files are able to link information to each other, whether that's permissions or some sneaky extra protection method on Arturia's part, or just a string that doesn't actually work and wasn't properly tested on Intel.

As I wrote above they are the same thing with some variations to adapt them to the new releases of Arturia, probably compiled for use with ARM and not tested on Intel. Every time Arturia makes a substantial step forward with the versions of their software, the same thing always happens. At the moment no one has yet managed to modify the scripts successfully for Intel but I think it's only a matter of time before a valid solution is found to solve the problem.

Hi @Micky62, you can find the XML files in each plugin folder inside /Library/Arturia/.
For example for "Acid V" the file "Acid V.gui.xml" is located in "/Library/Arturia/Acid V/resources".

I really hope for a fix...

Don't understand why , but If you're running Logic Pro X under Rosetta you will get xml GUI error message. All Arturia plugs work flawlessly on M1 macbook pro with Rosetta unchecked. I hope there's a fix, if any is on the way

This is because the patch for this release has been modified for ARM architecture and doesn't include INTEL.

I think the supplier more or less just tried to repackage the cracks with updates as a new release as we so often see here. However, I did try using the old xml file from Time Machine, and it then threw a similar but more complicated error. The old crack and new seem to be written the same of maybe someone tried to update it without checking the Intel/Rosetta side.
