Not shure if I got this right:

V.R. offers a complete offline install, means you select the directory which is provided with this download .

But how do I update the old release with this one ?

Run the former Release of V.R. Wavecentral an then point to this download of v12 17.02.21 ?

I uninstalled previous version , and installed this version. on MAC CATALINA,, and logic wont load any plugins, it keeps saying, cannot verrified if free of melware and move to trash, spend full day cant get it to work.
what am i doing wrong?

The WavesLicenseEngine patch for mac seriously needs some proper fixing, since this patch is 5 years old now and not working 100 %!

For example Maschine crashes instantly once you close the StudioRack GUI (AU). Plugin settings won't be stored for Synths like Flow Motion and Scheps Omni Channel for example.

Working great in High Sierra, LPX 10.4.8. All 603 plug-ins validated.

I was skeptical that it was worth the upgrade from 11 since 11 has all the true essentials (SSL, API, Manny, JJP, CLA, Renaissance, etc.) but some of the new toys look fun and useful. Truth: Vocal Bender is cool and can be used in non-ridiculous ways, unlike what's shown in the promo video.

It's worth the 90 minutes you'll spend—de-installing the old version, moving the offline installers into your public folder, moving all the audio samples from the last version (not included here,) installing, restarting, validating, etc.(Easier to justify in High Sierra. Not sure how much extra trouble it is on Catalina.)

Wuz up guys I have a question, Ive set my entire system permissions as administrator and Waves Cenral continues to give me the "fixing permissions " problem and I cant install the bundle because of this issue. Any suggestions?

Question. For the first time EVER with Waves plugins, the install itself seemed to go flawless. However, when I try to load any of the new plugins (already had v11 installed and working) the DAW just crashes. Any idea what might be causing this?
