This was the longest it's taken me to get the response code accepted and reload Omnisphere without challenge screen coming back up (and often with an error).

I began to worry about this because Pirate gave warning on the Keyscape update ...
I'd opened it in FL Studio, Standalone and Studio One quite a few ties with no success but finally it took after a restart (no clue if that helped).

Well, as R2R said in 2015
"1) Crashing Issue
Due to the bug of Omnisphere 2, it may crash when you paste the license.
This is not related to our patch but legal users also encounter this issue.
Try other hosts when you experience those crashes.
Once it accepts license, the issue does not happen."

Maybe it's still the same thing

Now it's official: I'm sitting this one out. HaHa!! I doubt that I can successfully find a project that I'm NOT using Omnisphere on.

Oh, it works... Having to try a few times has been usual most times I have installed it.
Maybe only 5 or 6 times has it worked quickly ... maybe only once or twice on the first paste and reopen.
And the Keyscape one is going to have a patch soon (Pirate uploaded so it will show up)...if you actually run the Keyscape interface...

When do you do this? I have so many conflicting reports...patch first, codesign first, callenge/response first..... also should you be offline/online? Does it matter. I just don't understand why I've updated for years and it keeps my registration data in my system, but suddenly it's all gone. That's most of my project files. To get back up and running in Australia would cost me about $800. I do not have that money.

Same here, I can't get the patch downloaded from https://audioz.download/software/win/90840-download_spectrasonics-omnisphere-v20-patch-and-keygen-only-r2r.html to run on my mac (10.15.4). The windows keygen works and generate a response code but it can't patch the .AU and .VST files.
I think we would greatly appreciate detailed instructions on how to get things installed properly on mac. Thanks a lot!

Sorry I can’t give detailed instructions until I’m back on my computer but one thing I remember was having to patch the Omnisphere file inside the Au and vst files (right click each and show package contents, Contents/MacOS/Omnisphere), best to drag them onto desktop first. Hope that helps, if not, I’ll try to be more detailed when I can.

Mac Catalina user. I've patched the VST and Component, but Challenge/Response not working. Just keeps prompting for authorization every time. Was previously working. Need help guys!
Did this update break the existing patching method?

Note: I've ran a fresh batchmod on the Spectrasonics folder and Omnisphere app, no luck.

Hi, I'm on macOS Catalina and I'm facing a problem after the update:
1. I previously had the 2.6.2 version patched and keygen'ed. Everything was working perfectly (both standalone and plugins).
2. Today, I've installed the 2.6.3 update.
3. I copied the 'Component' and 'AU' to the desktop and both were successfully patched.
4. I then placed them back in their original locations "Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components" and "Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST".
5. Now when I open the standalone Omnisphere, it instantly crashed and doesn't open.
6. When I open the load the AU plugin in Ableton Live 10.1.13, it opens normally and doesn't prompt me for any challenge code/key.

How can I get the standalone to open again?

Uh oh, I'm starting to see a pattern here. I think jumping on this update was a bad idea for us macOS Catalina users, even if we previously had it working.

Did you restart after? And just to be sure, you patched the omnisphere file inside both AU and VST ( ‘show package contents ‘ -> Contents/MacOS/Omnisphere)?

Yes, I've restarted after it. And yes, I've patched both AU and VST (Contents/MacOS/Omnisphere).

Mac OS 10.13.6 High Sierra, Logic Pro X v10.4.4 ...

Success of everything except Omnisphere working in Logic, keeps crashing with weird error message saying: "Logic Pro X can\U201C9t be opened" then below it says "\U201CLogic Pro X\U201D is damaged and can't be opened. Delete \U201CLogic Pro X\U201D and download it again from the App Store."

I haven't tried re-installing yet because of further information below but if no-one can solve the problems from the information below then I'll try re-installing and post what happens.

At the bottom of the error message there's the usual "Ignore" or "Report" and when I choose "Report" amongst all the jargon the only thing I think might be the problem is that it says the following (Copied and pasted) - "Termination Reason: Namespace CODESIGNING, Code 0x2

kernel messages:

Application Specific Information:
dyld: in dlopen()
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Omnisphere.component/Contents/MacOS/Omnisphere".

So I'm guessing the problem lies with the component file, maybe it needs patching another way or something, I'm not clued up on coding etc.

Omnisphere and Keyscape both work in standalone and are fully authorised, same as Stylus RMX and Triian.

Hope this helps and that someone can solve the Omnisphere problemo.

Update with software - patch AU/VST - copy back - then run Terminal


xcode-select --install
Then
sudo codesign -f -s - --deep /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Omnisphere.component
