After updating to this version Omnisphere would crash Logic. I had already patched the component, as usual, so I had to codesign the Omnisphere.component and then it run fine. 

sudo codesign -f -s - --deep /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/Omnisphere.component

I've gone back and tried to use old keygens. No good. Why?

This did the trick! Install both updates, drag au, vst to desktop
Use RAR keygen to patch both (allow permissions first), drilling down to the binaries for each one, and then place them back into original locations, codesign au, restart = All good

I'm fairly certain that the NEWER of the two is the one that works. But it's MORE likely that you made an error somewhere in the process than it is that BOTH keygens are ineffective.

Do you know the proper procedure? I ask this because it changed a year or two ago and NOW involves patching DLLs in DIFFERENT locations.

I'm working on a mac, so dll files aren't a factor unless I'm wrong. Which is possible. I get more unstable and drunk when software shoves it up my arse.
