after selecting some plugins and installed them.
put the VR patch on!

staring reaper and all selected plugins shown up as VST3??
but I cant load them.

AFAIK, waves doesnt support VST3!

tried it again after deinstall,
but where can I select the vst2-folder?

Waves have Vst3 versions. (For example: C:\Program Files\Common Files\WaveShell1-VST3 12.x_x64.vst3)
Vst2 is located in "C:\Program Files\VstPlugIns\" and follow the same kind of naming scheme. (WaveShell1-VST 12.x_x64)

I am not sure what makes you think they don't support VST3 versions.

Sorry, didnt know that there is only this waveshell plugin for Vst2 and Vst3.
I was searching for the individually plugins,
but you never stop learning!

Big Sur 11.2.3, M1, Ableton 11 : Not working.

Au/vst are all visible but do not load ; error when installing.

Having issues

When i try to install
"waves central"
get an error message saying
another version of this software is already installed.

First time installing so idk why it says that...

WORKS ON WIN!

1. install from the waves folder and select plugins you want.
2. install them
3. Fixme.cmd right click as Admin
4. patch.exe as Admin

In my first attempt I forgot the fixme.cmd

I had not seen this post and replied above, although you may find it useful to know where the VST2 and VST3 versions are located.

Work on Big Sure 11.3.1
1.update
2.copy z-noise.bundle or any bundle from waves plugins folder to desktop
3.copy from Library/Application Support/Waves/Preset Browser the “V12” folder to desktop
4.Install just Z-noise or removed bundle from a previous version via offline installer
5.Install patch

6.Move Z-noise.bundle or removed bundle from desktop back to waves plugins folder
7.Move “V12” back to its location (delete the other one)
8.Working 100% now!!

For AU validation i found a new trick
1.Update latest Waves via offline or Online
2.Install Hexwars Keygen
3.Run latest Au reg (it should authorize all plugins)
4.Option 1.If you like leave it as it is..All plugs working (AAX,VST3 and AU Tested 100%)
.Option 2.If you like to use your previous Patch..Do The following
5. Go to /Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses and delete the .wle file created
6.Install the old Patch

Leoneed method works perfectly in Catalina OS X and tested in Pro Tools 2021 and Studio One, VST,VST3,AU and AAX working like a charm!

Thank you so much for the release!

I installed it and everything working perfectly. I have a question though. Since the version 12.7 Waves have added the preset browser to find presets by name, it should appear as an option within the preset menu in the system toolbar of every plugin. But it doesn't.

I don't know why this happens, if the release is previous to that update or if this just happens to me?

Any help would be appreciated!
