Hello All,

Here it is children. Feast upon the meal prepared for you that is the OSX ilok work around bundle.

This method was crafted, tested and provided to you by Squ4d and 0RGan1c under a new collaborative name, C0sm1cSqu1d. It shows that many may take themselves and their egos seriously, but we dont. We are here to play, enjoy, befriend and provide to the community some of our knowledge.

In this workaround a windows to osx porting method was used for the plugins. All the tested and working AudioUtopia plugins that work in this method are provided. Not all plugins work, so until a full ilok crack is discovered or our method is perfected, this is it.

This requires a couple steps of which are in the zip file in text and video format. This was tested and done with Logic X as the focus. It was tested on OSX 10.9.5 on three separate computers.

We ask the community to communicate with BuroakenSowend to help us perfect our method. Thats how this started to begin, one persons idea or knowledge. We know we can beat it, so join us with your knowledge.

Hi,
every time I try to load wormhole2 and/or audio port in Live as AU it crashes. So I can't load anything. Any ideas?
Live 9.6 , OSX el capitan

How did you get wormhole2 and/or audio port to load? It crashes everytime for me too.

Nevermind I got it too, you had to restart computer.

ok i have audio port correctly loading plugins- just cant get it to generate sound yet. could you be explicit about what settings need to happen in wormhole for this to work in ableton?

do i need rewire to be enabled- how does it bus back into the program?

you don't have change your name correctly or don't renamed wine folder or opt or wine folder are not in their folder...
run in terminal :
/opt/local/bin/wine /Users/YOURNAME/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/AudioPort\ Universal/AudioPort\ Universal.exe
and see what's wrong ;-)

Working fine on el capitan last update and ableton live..... Not all plug tested for now.... Just little compensation delay problem... You need a plug like voxengo latency delay for.... I have just a question you must put latency delay on ableton or on wrapper or on the two side???

Finally got some time tonight to give this a whirl. I thought that everything was going smoothly until I had my LogicX project open and tried to open the Rewire-Logic.audioport in AudioPort Host Universal. When I opened the AudioPort Host Universal File Menu both Open and Open Recent were greyed out. I decided to try dragging the Rewire-Logic.audioport file into AudioPort Host and when I did that I got a popup window that said:

Failed to open file...
There was an error while trying to load the file: C:\VST\Rewire-Logic.audioport
Please connect to a remote host before loading AudioPort file

I checked my settings in the Wormhole2 and AudioPort AU plugins and they both look fine. Also tried toggling the Connect/Disconnect button in the AudioPort plug but it didn't make a difference.

I also noticed a spinning gear icon up in my menu bar and when I right-clicked it said:

VSToMac.app
0% Completed (Run Shell S...

I'm not sure if that's normal when VSToMac.app is open or not.

Obviously I've screwed up somewhere, but retracing my steps through the instructions and videos hasn't helped me figure out where . . . any thoughts appreciated.

1 -launchWinVSToMac.....
2 -you have to PLAY something in logicX a loop or wav to activate stream, then 3-press connect to audioport in logic.......
4-now WinVSToMac says connected, you can load & save anything ,
if not connected you can't ....all is grey ......normal....

PS : the spinning gear is normal simple automator launcher ...
you can kill it after WinVSToMac is launched.

EDIT: I figured out my issue - somehow I had a rule in Little Snitch stopping all connections to 127.0.0.1!

Thanks for the suggestion jeen. I do have the loop playing in the project when I press Connect on the AudioPort AU plugin, but the AudioPort Host Universal never connects - it always shows as Audio Output [not connected] at the bottom of the window. I guess this is why the File Menu "Open" options are greyed-out.

Now I just have to figure out why my AudioPort AU plug isn't connecting to my WinVSToMac . . .

P.S. These videos have inspired me to change my OSX to French language - way sexier.
