Hello All,

Here it is children. Feast upon the meal prepared for you that is the OSX ilok work around bundle.

This method was crafted, tested and provided to you by Squ4d and 0RGan1c under a new collaborative name, C0sm1cSqu1d. It shows that many may take themselves and their egos seriously, but we dont. We are here to play, enjoy, befriend and provide to the community some of our knowledge.

In this workaround a windows to osx porting method was used for the plugins. All the tested and working AudioUtopia plugins that work in this method are provided. Not all plugins work, so until a full ilok crack is discovered or our method is perfected, this is it.

This requires a couple steps of which are in the zip file in text and video format. This was tested and done with Logic X as the focus. It was tested on OSX 10.9.5 on three separate computers.

We ask the community to communicate with BuroakenSowend to help us perfect our method. Thats how this started to begin, one persons idea or knowledge. We know we can beat it, so join us with your knowledge.

not to be a hater but why don't you let them download one of the plugins before making everyone download the whole thing

This way they can decide if it is worth downloading the whole thing


Also does the win to mac porting add any latency to the plugins

No added latency that we had noticed. But all details are above in the spoiler.

And everything is inside the one component, and we wanted to avoid having the user do it just to have them go find all the plugins and then have questions on how to do it and whatnot. Simplify and include almost everything and include videos if things can out after release, so they know how to set it all up with new releases. And its not as if we included everything. Nexus isnt in there with its million expansions. Just was meant to simplify.

I dont take it as hate, all valid questions that we had discussed amongst ourselves and someone else. We determined this to be the best way.

Hi Buroaken, when you say there is no added latency I don't quite understand because I have at least 330ms round trip through wormhole and back in through audioport. I don't mind setting up multiple sampledelays from airwindows through bluecat patchbay to get my tracks in time with each other but do you have another way or a particular setup which means you have little latency through the whole thing? I'm on OSX 10.10.5 and Logic X 10.2.1.

Thanks! This is great. But I agree, not everyone can download 12GB let alone with the file links. Maybe on torrent yes, :) But hey Thank you! I already downloaded the audioutopia files, i know this port can happen, just in case. I just want to know how to patch them to use in osx. Again THANK YOU!

We can possibly put out just the file between it all in a release in a few days. Sound fair? We want to make everyone happy with this release. Just need some time to clean it up and then put it out. I think it would still be somewhere between 700mb-1gb. But i cant remember right now.

But we will put it up in a day or two for those who dont want the bundle.

It should work alongside the existing wine install. Although you will have to either back up your old opt file or overwrite it.

Ok so its basically Audio Utopoias Handbook for Mac / Aka Bible? So here it is Children? Lets get a Helment on that head before it Explodes, can we elaborate a little better as to what method or bridge this is being pointed to?In this workaround a windows to osx porting method was used for the plugins, !Well ill give ya credit for trying to go in the right direction, but wouldn't have made more sense to fully unlock and include proper installers for Au / Vst? not trying to be a Hater here! it would be a much harder way to do I guess...If it works 100% why people ask for the way it has been done?actually you MAC guys can try nearly all the goodies we WIN guys already got...maybe they will do one day...who knows...until that enjoy the stuff and make some music...props to Organic

I know your good Crappy. And we say above in our release that we would LOVE to improve and update this method. Squ4d is a programmer and could help simplify. This was a starting point. And it worked, so we wanted to share. But we know there is a way to make it better and easier. So we would love to improve on it and welcome anyone with ideas or improvements to its execution to message me.

This reminds me of the Plugwire method. I'm trying to get this to work on Ableton Live, but I cannot make a new project inside Audio Port. Any clues? I know you guys said you've tested only on Logic but I use AU's in Ableton so I don't see why it wouldn't work as well.

I remember using the 'Plugwire method'. I had the same problem creating a new project on OSX. If you have Windows running try installing Audio Port and making a new project on there (if I remember correctly I also used a project consisting of the plugins that I would be using).

Then obviously copy that new project file to the installed OSX version.
Google is not my friend. DuckDuckGo for me.

This solution is so complicated, it's OK for real testing purposes. But for actual production, no way. It messes up with the workflow a lot. However, it's nice to see a first step towards finding a solution to bypass the iLok 2.

First steps in a long journey. We will continue to improve these methods. We hope to still have your support in this matter regardless of complexity. Thank you for your input no less. We knew it wouldnt be for everyone. But the best way to reach people with means to improve it is to release what we do have.

Exactly. not hating but this no crack. this method could be made with plugwire or even with Jeen's post here on az few months back (now deleted) so nothing changed after all.
Plugins dont load inside of Logic! What would be really usefull is creating a win vst to au wrapper or host like Carla - http://kxstudio.linuxaudio.org/Applications:Carla
