Having trouble with running Waves_Keygen on Play on Mac it says Waves Keygen Crashed or error reading POL_Wine
(Also tried in a Windows computer and no luck)

Can someone generate with my waves code and send it to me?

Also: The first time I looked in /Application Support/Waves there was no folder for Modules so I had to move the folder from /Waves - 17.1.23/Data//V14/Mac

Same goes for the COSMOS/HTML folder
is that normal?

I have tried installing rets waves for 2 different m2 macs. They all fail before even starting the cracking process. Wondering if anyone else is having problems with waves failing installation on m2 chips..

Hi guys, my English is not ver y good. What means exactly "- codesign it in terminal sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle".

open the terminal.app and copy in :
sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

then press enter ...ask passwort...made in enter ...done
this give the bundle your signature and works only if you have installed Xcode command Line Tools (a short version of Xcode) or Xcode here a link how to install:

Well, I strictly followed the install process but nothing appears in my Logic Pro plugins :((((

what's your OS? Intel or M1 M2?

1. Download this latest waves v14 release.

2. Extract and install waves central.

3. Perform an offline installation by choosing plugins you like to install or install all online
-edit- Actually, I just download directly from Waves Central online and it all worked.

4. Install the included patch (which will replace WavesLicenseEngine.bundle in Library>Application Support>Waves>Modules)

Only if installing COSMOS:
5. Replace "index.js" in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/

6. Replace "app.asar" in
/Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/

7. Open terminal and paste following commands:
xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

sudo codesign --force --deep --sign - /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

8. Run waves keygen on a windows pc or with Crossover/Parallels/whichever Windows emulation app you have on Macs.

9. Find your computer id on waves central licenses tab, enter exact id to keygen and generate license file.
You can also find ID on Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses>LastAcceptableMACAddress

**TIP** keep a copy of your license file separately in case you need to replace the license again (that is, if you run Waves Central after you do the RET method, it will make all your plugins demo mode again, so having a copy of the license file is handy)

STEP 10 not necessary, don't do it is my recommendation:
10. Removes waves local server : (Run in terminal)
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer
and
killall WavesLocalServer & rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer

11. RESTART

12. Copy license file to Library>Application Support>Waves>Licenses

13. RESTART your Mac now again FIRST and run Waves au reg utility 14 in
/Applications/Waves/WaveShells V14
Click Let's go, it will identify your plugins.

14. Open your daw it will automatically scan plugins, if not rescan plugins manually.

**Important note: If you open Waves Central after doing the RET method, Waves Central will "fix permissions" automatically and all the Waves plugins will go back to demo mode. If this happens, NO NEED TO REINSTALL, just repeat 4, (5 & 6 if you have COSMOS), 7, 8 & 9 (or if you kept a copy of your license file separately, go straight to step 11), 11, 12, 13 and 14.

** ANOTHER TIP, KEEP A COPY OF THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN A NOTE OR TEXT FILE, SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO SCOUR AUDIOZ FOR THE RET METHOD AGAIN **

CONFIRMED WORKING ON 2021 M1 MACBOOK PRO VENTURA 13.6 ON LOGIC X PRO, ABLETON 11.13.12, AND PRO TOOLS 2023.9

Hi with Intel Big Sur 11.7.10 i think V14 won't work you can look for V13 here for V14 you need Monterey minimum i think...

hello, I just to ask a question...
I successfully installed waves central with 2 plugins, worked perfectly on my Macbook pro M1 with Ableton..

I'm just wondering if it will be possible to install other plugins by waves in future...I mean, I will simply run waves central, then select the plugin I want and click install... or I will need to re-execute all the procedure?

New Versions avaible for M Proc. i would do that. But it's possible my above post point 11-13 after install of new plugins work under intel ...normaly should work...no 100% shure it works on M Systems...pherhaps a good idea to make a backup before
