As Kontakt 5 is growing older, macOS users might have trouble using it to add Kontakt libraries.

I wrote macOS scripts that allow to manage Kontakt libraries without depending on old version of Kontakt.

Even though I am a Windows user, I feel obligated to say a very big THANK YOU for your willingness to help others with older software. As someone who still uses a 32 bit FL Studio 7 (though I have Win 10 and newest Kontakt 6 portable alongside my trusty old Kontakt 5.5 from Tracer) I genuinely appreciate what you are doing for the Mac community on AudioZ and thinking about those who are afraid to mess with a good working Kontakt 5.

Hey I just stopped using Kontakt 5 for Kitty's Scripts. I truly enjoyed it for the time I used it. But the scripts way is much smoother and somewhat quicker to use.

All my vst added to Kontakt 6 only run as demos? am I doing something wrong or do i need something else.

If Kontakt puts libraries in demo mode, then it's not patched properly. Script has nothing to do with it.

Thank you for this very useful Software! It bought all of lost libraries back to show on library Tab again! After batching every library folder with the nicnt I just realized that i have totally forgot about some of them due to they were gone from tab ! Much Appreciated

Couldn't you write some extra lines to do this for a main folder or a drive maybe where you only point and the script adds all the libraries in it with a single Password!

Just a quick thought off course

You can already do this by choosing a top-level folder with all your Kontakt libs.

I remember trying this with the version 5.6 and failing. When it didn't see a nicnt directly under subfolder it used to give "No Library Found" message.

I will try this again ASAP with your script of course.

please excuse my ignorance.... could anybody explain what this does exactly ? up to now to add libraries we need to use the 5.6 kontakt version. add them there and they will appear on the kontakt 6 - no problem. what does this do differently ? thanks!!!

It does not require Kontakt 5.6. So you don't have to keep second outdated Kontakt on your system.

Thank you very much for your releases! I keep getting a particular error using this commands... "parser error : Document is empty" after choosing the library folder. Would you have any idea why? Best regards

Hey Kitty thanks for this. I moved to a new computer (w/big sur). its only detecting the nict's from properly installed libraries but not the nicts i made from KLC. Is there a work around for this?
