CASHMERE | macOS | 336.22 MB
this is a fixed release with proper installer that doesn't add anything to your host file. you can read about it here. couldn't test it, but it was provided by our resident.

The last masterpiece of the 20th Century, revived after 20 years. A perfect reproduction of the TRITON workstation in software.

The KORG TRITON series of synthesizer workstations was first released in 1999 to accolades and prestigious awards. Top musicians around the world loved the expressive PCM sound and used their TRITONs on countless songs.

This year, on the 20th anniversary of its release, the KORG TRITON will finally be realized in software as the KORG Collection TRITON. The plug-in faithfully reproduces the HI (Hyper Integrated) synthesis system down to the smallest details and contains every one of the vast number of preset programs. Reclaim the true masterpiece sound that characterizes so many hit songs.
thanks to our resident who wishes to remain anonymous for clearing out the poison off the original release.

quote by newmillsThe Triton was a massive upgrade to Trinity.
Guess it made sense to release this, since it has everything the Trinity has and more.

Yes... but the Trinity *sounded better* than the Triton, and a lot of people preferred it, despite it being an earlier/inferior instrument... But the Triton was a bigger thing, and had more content, expansions and so on...

I had the Trinity, TR-Rack with a word clock, then The Triton Rack Workstation, and yes, there was a different engine and sound, in the Triton. The DSP limitations, albeit the better midi production hardware, was the culprit.

Resources for the higher polyphony, sampling, etc, came at a cost. It was a manufacture value/cost trade-off, that otherwise would've made its retail cost ridiculous. Packing 16 full Trinity's in a rack, if even possible at the time, would've been pretty costly to make and hard to afford.

You got slightly less punchier, workstation-eque, patches, but more voice polyphony, expansion, and. tons of bells and whistles. It was a compromise, but a tad annoying for old Trinity users, but I just tweaked them up. Plus I still had the Trinity's if it was really a problem.

Far less a problem for a software plugin and today's powerful computers, but if you're reproducing the hardware workstation, it is what it is.

That said, No, I wouldn't mind a Trinity plugin, with it's sound engine profile, but this is still an excellent plugin emulation, all things considered.

quote by wickedmonkeyi'm a bit confused. on the website it says you'll need at least 8gb of free space.

Just because the website says you should have 8GB free for the plugin does not mean the plugin takes 8GB. You'll need some free space to dl and unpack of course, but should also have some free space to run in. The plugin itself uncompressed, with expansion content, is about 450MB, depending on what plugin formats you install... it's just a minimum recommendation for problem free usage.

Thanks for the upload. I keep getting the demo version tho. I'll keep trying. Do you have to do a clean install each time?
If it bangs I want it!

Dublet, I am on OSX 10.13.6 and the Triton is working fine for me. First off, make sure you are not referring to the application because at least some versions of Triton installers/cracks did not have the app cracked. You can try using Audio Plugin Player. This program is sandboxed and therefore has less interaction with files installed on your system. Sometimes is useful in troubleshooting things. It can run both the VST and AU. I am not sure why it is in demo mode for you, but some more info might help. Try it with the VST or AU plugin. Here are some of my questions:
1) Did you previously install the KORG Software Pass software?
2) Did you previously install and run the Triton demo that can be found in the KORG Software Pass software?
3) Do you have other KORG software up and running such as the KORG Legacy Collection?
4) Are you trying this in an admin account or regular user?

I have been trying to run it standalone just to check. I will try again later on. Doing some maintenance and library clean up. Had a 4tb hd crash on me today. Using disk drill to recover. Thanks for the info tho.

The standalone application from this posting does not include an app crack, so it will never work as a full version. If you have the download from the original leak, extract the application from there and it will be the full version.

Please help.
How can I open the vst or AU? I'll get a 'unknown developer' warning. I can't get rid of that.
I'm on 10.15.2

I've only seen this message for apps, I think. In that case, you go to "apple menu" > system preferences > security & Privacy and should see a message there on the bottom half of that window about allowing the denied app.

However, It appears you are talking about loading a vst or au in your host application. So I guess then billy123's answer will help you. I could be wrong, but my understanding would be:

1. Download the app if you don't have it from:https://lagentesoft.com/batchmod/
2. Drag the vst or au Triton plugin to the app window.
3. Change the permissions there. Mine are owner RWX, Group RX and Everyone RX

I usually apply to enclosed as well. Be careful using this software, if you use it on the wrong folder it can render your system unbootable.

Thanks for your help.
I tried another way. I first opened the original vst and AU in the DAW. These are not blacklisted. And after that replaced them. It works.

That was a great solution you came up with—brilliant!

A real mess with releases from CASHMERE. And it really is a fact!

Hey! hope somebody can help - after install its only the demo version for me ?

The installer doesn't seem to create a new Korg sub-folder in Audio > Plug Ins > VST like other users said would happen. So I put the VST and Component files into the VST and Component folders I already had in place there, and replaced the TRITON file in Applications > Korg with one in the 'Replace' folder. But it doesn't seem to have worked...

I also tried adding my own KORG subfolder but it didn't work, still demo version...

How can I fix this ?

Thanks!
