Positive Grid BIAS AMP 2 Elite (with working ToneCloud) v2.1.1.946 MAC screenshot
TNT | 03 May 2018 | 549 MB
BIAS AMP 2 is the ultimate virtual amp designer, authentically recreating the tone and feel of real tube amplifiers, while allowing you to mix and match components to create your ideal amp. You can use Amp Match to clone the tone of real hardware or a guitar track, or connect to the ToneCloud® to gain access to thousands of custom amps from artists and recording studios, or upload your own custom tones to the cloud.

BIAS AMP 2 adds two new custom amp packs to your sonic palette. Blues is all about gooey clean to mid-gain amps, and Bass brings amps and speaker cabs just for bass guitars. Add in all of the custom component options, and you have literally thousands of custom amps at your fingertips. There’s nothing else like it! BIAS AMP 2 represents a revolution in virtual amplifier design, providing the tools to take your ultimate guitar tone with you anywhere, from the studio to the stage and back again.

DYNAMIC TONE ENGINE
For BIAS AMP 2 we worked with artists, engineers and recording studios to improve the already hyper-authentic touch response of our amplifier circuits. The result is a new playing experience, with increased touch responsiveness and dynamics. With new tubes, transformer, dynamic tone control and a completely redesigned speaker cabinet module with multi-mic capability, you now have the tools to take your tone explorations further than ever before!

BIAS MEETS CELESTION
When it comes to speakers, Celestion is the most trusted name in the history of rock and roll. Their drivers have been used on more classic songs and tones than any other manufacturer, and their impulse responses are the favorites of guitarists ranging from Pete Thorn and Scott Henderson to George Lynch. We’ve partnered with Celestion to make their IR’s easier to use than ever before, so you can forget loading individual files! Just select a custom Celestion cab and start moving the mics around – BIAS AMP 2 does the rest.

REDESIGNED AMP PACKS
BIAS AMP 2 adds two new custom amp packs to your sonic palette. Blues is all about gooey clean to mid-gain amps, and Bass brings amps and speaker cabs just for bass guitars. Add in all of the custom component options, and you have literally thousands of custom amps at your fingertips. There’s nothing else like it!

LUSH REVERBS
BIAS AMP 2 features nine built-in reverbs - ranging from huge halls to intimate rooms - with full control over their size and character. Between the different reverb types and the extensive filtering and saturation options, BIAS AMP 2 has all your reverb needs covered.

I typed this into Terminal:

"sudo codesign -f -s - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/BIAS\ AMP\ 2.component/Contents/MacOS/BIAS\ AMP\ 2"

(without the quotes), then reboot or Log Out/Log In. I also ran the standalone first.

Perfect worked a treat. Thanks 2Caras.

Oh.....Suddenly realized I can't save any edited settings it says "This feature request professional version to unlock" but under license version it says Elite.

Would be great if we could get a fix for this

I can't download amps. The only way I can get this to work is by blocking connections with Little Snitch. Am I doing something wrong?

Don't block the connections. Click on the upgrade button to get elite version, after that just log with facebook and download the amps.

Strange... Both work for me (logic 10.4.1, mac OS 10.12.6)
I download amps with the standalone version.

Great! Everything works fine, even the ToneCloud (after various tests). The only thing not working is the Modern Vintage presets of the Celestion CABs. Is there anyone who managed to make them work? Maybe the TNT team could release a fix to unlock Celestion presets. However, great work and congratulations to the TNT group!

Works great, except for the Celestion presets, and it still crashes Live 10 in AU and VST on Mac. My guess would be that BIAS will figure out what TNT did, and take appropriate measures to block it. To that end, I suggest you save your d/loaded presets separately for that possibility.

That's got it!!! Thanks ibeny !!

*added* Spoke too soon, VST opens in Blue Cat Patchwork, standalone is fine, AU opens and works in Logic, Celestion Speakers are there, ToneCloud works great, and where in the first version Live 10 crashed immediately, now it just spins the beachball, and won't load VST or AU.

It reverts back to demo mode on the standalone and it won't even let me login into Facebook on the plugin for some reason. I keep getting an error.

Third times a charm!!! Everything works, Standalone, ToneCloud, Modern Vintage, AU and VST, Live 10 Logic ProX High Sierra. I used the uninstall scripts for plugin and standalone then re-installed and re-booted. Previous Amps were still there, d/loaded a few more just to check and all worked, stayed in Elite Status. Many Thanks.

Just make a ToneCloud account. I did and logged in using the Bias Amp Standalone app, get all the amps you want, who knows how long we'll be able to!

Running nicely.....but
Tone Cloud no more working.
after logging, get back to demo (but app still in elite mode)
unable to download any preset.

What a Pity!!!

EDIT : Many thanks Ibeny !. You are right. With V3, everything is running
nicely. AU is long to load because, i've collected so many presets.

Why are the UNIX executables (BIASAmp2_deactivate/BIASAmp2Standalone_deactivate) inside the uninstaller ".apps" over 3MB?

Since the .pkg installers are pretty basic (pre-install script: delete files, copy the files, post-install script: copy .component to VST folder and rename to .vst)... why are the uninstaller apps THAT big?

Also, can someone explain the "vst = component" part mentioned above? (the one guy's comment - insulting this practice - got deleted.)

Those things, in combination with a new account showing up - posting multiple revisions/fixes... hmm
