nah my guy dont give up. I almost did.

first thing first if you have older versions, delete it.

Also, delete /Users/YourUsername/Library/Preferences/Ableton and
/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/Ableton

empty trash cans. restart mac.

Now you download both part 1 and part 2 rars
download batchmod
download wine or use the alternative step i wrote below


TURN OFF WIFI JUST INCASE THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PROCESS

Put them in a folder on the desktop name it whatever (just to keep it clean)

I used keka.

Unzip part 1 rar only

Then unzip the rar that has no "00,01,02, etc"

Then you should see another 7zip

extract that

now you see ableton .app

open a new finder window

drag that ableton .app into application folder (where u see all your installed apps)

now download BatChmod

open Batchmod

click file inside batchmod

go to application section and click the ableton .app

now you see under owner/group/everyone

theres boxes under " R W X"

Click inside those tiny boxes till theres check marks

In the options section what I did was clicked change ownership, clear ACLs

Then apply

You should be able to open the ableton app, it asked me multiple times to enter my password just click allow

it should open

KEEP ableton open you gonna click on activate offline

save the hardware code on desktop

keep ableton open, like i said

you should have something to open the keygen like "wine, etc." orrrrrr copy that hardware code text file and save that along with the keygen onto a flashdrive and bring it a WINDOWS computer and open the keygen, paste the hardware code in the keygen, generate a authorization file, save it back on the flash drive and bring it back to the mac

open a new finder window, dragged that authorization file in the application section (where you dragged ableton .app)(This step i usually do just to keep things clean)

now the autho.file is in the application section, you can now drag the authorization file into Ableton (i told you to keep it open remember)

it should say thank you

now let it load, give it a few mins or so

go to preferences under ableton

go to maintenance/licesnse area, and double check UPDATES AND SEND USAGE IS OFF

make sure updates/usage is off, i repeat

and under library, show downloadable packs TURN OFF (well i aint buying no ableton packs in a crack software that just me)

under Library, i checked audio units cuz i use them, and i turned on used vst system (i kept everything clean when downloading vsts and AU plugins)

or if you installed plugins in a different folder click custom folder and locate that folder

its gonna start scanning, let it do its thing

command Q, quit ableton

went back to firewall settings under mac system pref, security

blocked the ableton live app

thats just me

turn back on wifi or whatever or whenever you ready

reopen ableton

you should be aigghhhttt

im sleepy af and dont care about the spelling mistakes i made

took me forever to figure out that i needed batchmod
