This crack is finally working, the only downside is that you must use
the fade tool to create fades, if you use the menu item "Create Fades"
or the shortcut cmd+F it crashes, so don't try, btw the fade tool
is the easiest and fastest way to create fades in PT so you should use that anyway.

Fix Notes:
Many people faced problem with the previous patch+loader,
I made a mistake to share it on the wave of enthusiasm,
it was in a too early stage and not fully working.

Now we think this can be declared a final crack,
openssh spotted the pseudo-random iLok checks and circumvented the CRC checks,
it's now totally usable unlike the previous partial crack.
The new loader should be fool-proof. Just follow instructions.

Reversing and patch scripting by openssh.
Loader applet by copylefter.

I had the problem that PT crashes if i have many tracks, and wanted to add AUX busses and tried to route busses... It was very annoying.

But finally i found a solution... and here is it:

1. Here's the reason: i found out that the provided PT Loader and the manual Patch are different. You can see it in the Log of BitSlice.
Sometimes the common Loader works fine, sometimes the Manual Patch works.

2. What did i do? Very simple, i apllied both patches after another. First the slice file from the Loader... then the slice file from the Manual Patch. And see, it works perfect. No crashes anymore.

3. How To: To extract the slice file from the loader, simply do a right click on the "Pro Tools Loader" and click "Show content" there is a file inside, called PTTENTHREENINE.slice copy this file in your Pro Tools directory , along with slice file of the Manual Parch and the BitSlice App of the Manual Patch (it should be in PT directory too. Now, start Pro Tools 10HD and create a new session or open a one... then do a double click on the PTTENTHREENINE.slice and in BitSlice click on activate, watch the Log until it show "Pro Tools patched" now double click on the slice file of the manual patch and activate it in Bitslice, watch the Log again for "Pro Tools Patched!"

So after I launch PT10 double click on PTTENTHREENINE.slic and I check Active box, then I click on another Manual Patch.slic and check Active box in other one too.
At first active check box is batched

Hey! I'm new here, i can open a new project because it crashes, and i don't have any project saved on my computer to open with pro tools, how can i do to start the pro tools?? i read other comments that say the same, that they cannot open a new proyect, i have OSX 1.9.4, please help me!!! i bought a mac and i can't use it yet because of the pro tools! >(

Use manual patch.
I have hackintosh Mac os 10.9.4/10.9.5 its working I can open new project but I can't open templates from the list, it crashes.
It is buggy so don't expect to work smoothly.

Im not sure how everyone is having so much trouble with this I been having thins running on mountain lion and mavericks perfectly. and I am currently running it on Yosemite Beta 4 with the only bugs that are listed the fades and opening the sessions everything works perfectly. I am on a macbook book pro early 2008

Its not working for me in yosemite. Theres an apple script error. The Patch is not working. how did you manage to fix the patch?

I didn't have to fix anything I just followed the instructions honestly. I had it working in mountain lion partitioned my drive and cloned it. I read a lot of people couldn't get it working on mavericks so I updated only the cloned drive and left mountain lion alone ran a few sessions for a couple weeks worked great. decided to take a stab at yosemite, did the same exact steps and it continued to work just the same.

have you tried creating a blank session and doing a session data import? maybe its just your older ptx files that won't open with the patch?

If opening a session crashes try holding shift while clicking on the session your are opening. Causes plugins to go inactive. Odd thing is after making all plugins active again it will not crash when reopening next time .

Really struggling with this. I've tried everything suggested in the comments with both the loader and the manual patch. As good as it gets is a bouncing Pro Tools icon.
Has anyone had success with Mavericks 10.9.5?

Any advice gratefully received. Thanks

I'm using Pro Tools 10.3.9 since 10.9.4 and I'm still using with 10.9.5 with manual patch.
Sometimes crashes but its working.

Thanks. Sorry for the ignorance, but someone (about page 14/15) said something about needing an iLok. I assumed you didn't need an iLok - is that right? Will have another go tomorrow to see if I can finally get it working. Thanks again.

ok I just updated to yosemite and I can tell you:

The loader doesn't work on yosemite :/

I hope copylefter gets us one working on yosemite !!!!!
